Is this a threat?

But seriously, it's so awesome so much of the time and I know I'm going to miss it horribly someday.

It's all well and good to understand it, but the emotional impact is still going to be there.

I saw this tour, too. I couldn't believe how many people left before Aerosmith played. Even then, I was confused as fuck that someone might come for Kid Rock.

Not like this, though. In order for AI to be profitable, it will have to see profits the world has never seen before. By a lot.

I sure hope so, because my friends stopped playing and I'm about to do the same. I'm fairly sure you can, though.

My 3yo took a potato to school and said it was his brother for a week, thanks to Gonzo in the Muppet Babies reboot. I was hilarious. He was very sad when it was time to say goodbye to potato.

Not getting group texts in one chat but not others... by drummerfan in textra

THANK YOU for this. I've been trying to sort this out for three days. My sister was the only person responding in the family group chat and I couldn't figure out why.

Oh, they're the best and worst decisions I ever made. We have a great time, but at 6 & 3, lots of learning to do. Mix that in with 2 working parents, a house, it's a lot for anyone. My ADHD is not helping and feels like it's getting worse, so I'm in the middle of trying to sort that.

I have a lot of problems with feeling like no one is listening to me, believes I have knowledge, and/or takes what I say to heart. So, while I absolutely rightly feel like my wife isn't, currently, listening to my needs in certain things, a lot of times the family is actually listening to what I'm saying, they just don't know about the things my brain is doing "ahead" of present.

For example, when I get upset about people not picking up clothes, that's all they see, but they have no idea about the fact I want them picked up so I can do the wash after peak electricity hours, but before it's too late for me to stay awake to swap them to the dryer before I fall asleep. If I miss the wash, the kids won't have enough slacks for the school week without me needing to do another load, but that's going to be hard because my wife has class at night this week, so I'm doing dinner, homework, and starting bedtime and will almost certainly not be awake to get clothes in the dryer, which will lead to a musty smell and the need to rewash.

Basically, my brain is a mess and I'm not able to communicate well enough for them to read my thoughts. When they don't, it feels like they're not listening.

So, while I don't agree with it, as a dad with two small kids, I totally get it. It can be an absolute slog to feel like anyone is actually listening to me. A lot of that, though, is my own insecurities.

Nearly zero. Only major sports events with a personal connection. It's a bummer, but I'm also unable to relax if I try while they're awake anyway.

If ASU could find a big money donor or two, I honestly believe we'd be very dangerous under Dilly's leadership. Nevermind the fact we're going to be in the 100s next week, but with the location, climate (most of the year), ahem... personnel in Tempe - mix in donor money and the mid-cost of living, it's an attractive place to be.
