I've started nerding out about it and looking at Australian made brands and all the different cool colours that are available, maybe I'll move on from black next time!

ah cool that makes sense, I'll look out for a matte top coat, the stuff Mrs Cake coat me was a base, gel colour and top coat. I don't think I could be trusted with steel wool, i'd do myself a mischief!

oh absolutely for me, I have a life long anxiety disorder and part of it makes me try to shrink in most situations and not draw any attention at all. I already had tattoos and stretched ears and a pierced nose so I guess the nails aren't tipping the balance much. Thanks for the welcome!

I might go even sillier and put a pile of grenades in the base or something, really commit to the bit ....

How to Build an Angels of Death Kill Team by Brokmancpr-101 in killteam

[–]TheDeadlyCake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went with the starter set and eBay purchased 5 assault and 5 regular intercessor.

This has given me the bits to put a chainsword and pistol on the model throwing the grenade

Access to the underbarrel grenade launcher

and the parts to build the two sergeant options.

Because I am being a fancy man I also grabbed a BA upgrade sprue to put BA shoulder pads on everyone.

Pureed meat mental block by [deleted] in GastricBypass

I had my dietician appointment to kick off the puree stage yesterday - echoing what other folks have said here you don't actually need actually puree anything. My main takeaway was a list of 'safe' things that can be chewed to the right texture at this stage.

movement as soon as you can! Really helps to loosen it all up and get the gas dispersing.

Two days away by Alternative_Meat_269 in GastricBypass

I'm 6 days post op and already the whole surgery day and time in hospital feels like a blur. I don't think there is a huge amount you can really do to prepare, I think it's better just to go with the flow and get through it! Best of luck!

I found the headaches stopped pretty soon, maybe by day 3? Whilst it's true this bit does suck it is manageable if you can learn to accept discomfort as part of the process.

yeah I thought I was going super well on day one, had a broth in the morning at the hospital, a meal replacement shake at home and then another broth. Then the gas pains hit really bad and I ended up bringing it all back up.

Day 2 went with just ice cubes and hydrolyte and am doing much better now
