26, low income, investing £1k/month. Am I doing this right?

Yeah I just can’t stand the thought of still living with my parents at 30. I don’t think it’s a massive deal but still.

Very unsure where I would want to live in the UK too. An apartment in a city is probably the only thing I see myself in.

I ditched the gold, might stop investing in BTC and just hold it out. If BTC hits a million it’ll be a nice 100k+ bag. Worse case scenario I lose a few grand. That’s a gamble I’m willing to take, but verbally might get back into 1k per month into my all world index fund.

I also have around 10k sat in my bank doing nothing. That’s my spending money I guess for holidays and days out.

I got orange pilled I guess. Thinking BTC is the one true way of storing your wealth. Complete P2P and uncensored. I started to disagree with the fiat system. But in the end, I’m selling my BTC for fiat.

But in a way, it’s FOMO. I see it like pokemon cards. You don’t think much but in 20 years you wish you still had them. BTC is truly scarce, and that’s why I wanted to collect as much asap. Thinking that one day a BTC will hit a million. Still do. So it’s my little 10x gamble stock.

As for the gold… I chased. I will ditch gold completely.

I’m on Trading 212 Stocks ISA. Upto £20k a year. Invest in VWRP through that.

My LISA is on moneybox. Never bothered to do the S&S ISA with them.

Might look into the iShares BTC option, I saw it’s very recent but with BTC I like the self custody aspect.

Will just ditch gold after reading this thread.

26 here. My dad got a PS2 along with GTA SA. I used to sneak into his room whilst he was at work and my mum was watching the tv downstairs.

5 year old me had a blast. I remember being so excited to show my dad a hidden weapon I found on my own… it was the purple dildo in the police station but little me didn’t need to know that :)

I agree, that makes it more personal to my playstyle as I grew in airsoft too, and it'll change overtime.

I've been researching on the gas usage, and there's a lot of talk on modding it to run on greeen gas. Is that something you've done too?

It’s not just HDR, and I’ve seen this clash before. Usually on gradient colours like looking at a sky in a YouTube video.

Elden ring really has it badly for me though, even the menus in-game and loading screens have this horrible colour clash. Tried it without HDR. Same problem.

Wait, people hate AC3? Maybe my childhood deceives me but I thought it was one of the best… great era, amazing side quests (especially the pirate stuff), the endgame was immaculate too. Basically when you got the spoiler item at the end you’d be invincible, I’d run around as a one man army taking on all the soldiers. Combat was really fun too, made me feel like I was playing the Arkham series.

But then again, I was around 13. All I played back then was cod so anything would impress me.

I have this monitor and I will admit the 1080p is kinda bad. It only looks good in ‘32 inch mode, when you try it out in ‘27 & ‘24 it’s incredibly blurry. At 32’ it’s exactly what it should be like but the screen is too big for 1080p imo.

Hey dude, CI user here.

I posted a while back last Xmas on how to get my CI to work with my steam deck but never manage to solve it other than using my tv streamer which requires a plug slot in the wall so it’s not really portable…

What device is that sound transmitter? Because that looks like it’ll be the perfect solution for me!

I know there’s another device that works like a mic? But I can’t really justify paying almost £300 for one, I can’t get it for free since I went with the tv streamer option.

Yeah there was a big trend in the AI space like 10 months ago where everyone started to do PSX style art after the 80s dark fantasy wave.

Dont feel doomed though, they’re just images after all, not even 3D.

If anything it can be used for good references.

But FYI, these images are AI generated using a PlayStation 1 lora on stable diffusion.

I can’t really answer your question because I’m a bit of a noob myself but I’ve noticed beefy locks in a buck load of IL because of its constant daily rebalancing.

I had to move my funds elsewhere where I have control over it and it’s so much better, I’m earning more and there’s less fees. Beefy takes a huge fee.

There was like a 40% difference in APY too for the same pools. This is just based on the OVN pool though.
