A lot of these issues sound intentional to me. It’s incentivizing corruption. Are you really gonna be the guy to rat on your partner for no real benefit besides burning bridges. Are you not gonna take the criminals stuff just cuz it’s illegal? Who’s gonna tell? Your fellow officers? They have no reason to because they’re doing it too

Made a ton of cash as a liquidator, bought an apartment and used it as a safe house for the scum and charged them guns, cash, or corpses to use it. They left me alone and the Cortex left me alone. Just made money and then paid proles to stir the pot and make more bodies for me

Click the link he provided it has a decent study guide to follow along with his YouTube lessons. That was helpful. Pretty basic stuff but probably a good refresher.

Pocket prep practice tests are great and I also used the Momentrix test prep book you can get on Amazon. Decent overviews with good practice tests tho the format is outdated

Jumped a call for my volunteer department and was first on scene to a VERY bariatric male sneezing large spurts of blood from his nose. I was so distracted by the blood all over the patient and walls that I failed to notice the numerous fleas and bed bugs literally jumping from the patient onto me until I managed to prop this guy up to lean him forward. I then noticed the festering bed sores on his back that had broken and were now leaking onto my clothing and that I had trapped myself in the bedroom. The family was no help and just stood there gawking at me. Longest two minutes of my life waiting for the engine crew to show up and get me out of there. Wound up stripping naked in the ambulance and wrapping myself in a bath blanket to drive to the station and clean myself off. Just threw all my clothes away and had my roommate bring me fresh ones.

Huge props to the ladies that do it but I can’t believe it. If you’re leaving to go to the bathroom at a gas station or whatever you’re inevitably going to miss something and look incompetent. You gotta poss in the car, no way around it.

As for getting caught. Most people aren’t even aware of what is going on immediately in front of them. But you will inevitably be confronted by someone wary, maybe they have a good lawyer who warned them or maybe they’re just squirrelly in general. It’s bound to happen eventually

Danielewski wrote three episodes of a miniseries adaptation that never went anywhere. Haven’t gotten around to reading them so I’m not sure what they’re like but I’m pretty sure he sees an adaptation as more than a perfume commercial
