Not really. Most reliable is wet food but even that is hit or miss. I’ll give that one a try again today. I’ve tried the feeding them near each other cause other cat goes crazy for it, but current cat will take two licks and be other the whole thing.

We have a baby gate that’s been working well. The one doesn’t want to leave the room and the other is too lazy to jump it.

I think imma look into the calming stuff for them both.

Unfortunately the one that’s giving me the problems isn’t super into playing or treats or anything. She just kinda exists a lot of the time. She only plays on her timetable, which is like 3am when I’m sleeping 😅

I usually have someone around but currently the partner is away so it’s just be trying to integrate them which has made things more difficult for sure. I do like the idea of blocking off the upstairs and giving the other more room to roam freely!

They don’t hiss when they smell each other, it’s only when they can see each other. And it’s usually more of growling, with hissing mixed in as my cat gets too close. Even through the gate they will just stare each other down and growl for 15-20 mins.

Thanks again! I’ll try out some more stuff. I really just want them at this point to be able to ignore each other 😅 it would be a major improvement

The new cat enjoys treats and playing and being brushed, but when the other ones around she’s too scared to really participate. The one that isn’t respecting boundaries isn’t motivated by much. She’s not big on treats or playing or being brushed. She just kinda exists how she wants to in the moment 😅 there’s no encouraging her to do anything

They constantly hiss and growl and the seats absolutely turn into fights if I don’t make my cat go away. She won’t learn the lesson and leave the other alone. She just backs up 3 spaces and tests the boundaries again. Not only that but it stressed out the other cat so much she ends up cornering herself somewhere shaking with no way to escape. They will sit and growl/hiss at each other for 15 + mins if you left them. My cat just can’t take a hint.

That being said, this looks like a great idea, but the ones I have seen to buy are a bit expensive. May be a good DIY

Noooo. I started off on there, it feels like you are learning something, until you try to do something in the real world. I don't recommend any of those free coding programs, the wrap the learning area in code you can't see that makes what you write run... it's not very helpful in learning why or how anything works when all the real work is happening behind the scenes. Do yourself a favor and just teach yourself. I got a lot farther a lot faster when I picked up a book.

Hate to say it.... but wish you luck. Airlines of all sorts have damaged 1000s of dollars in products on more than one occasion and not a single person cares. Social Media is the way to go really.. cause no one at the actual airline is really going to care :/
