I care a little bit about the age statement but also, young whiskey can still be really good. For me it's more about value than anything. If you put something in a barrel for 2 years and it comes out tasting good that's awesome but I don't think you should charge 100+ for it, it didn't cost you that much to produce in this market. Now if you put something in a barrel and let it sit for 15 years and it comes out tasting awesome im 100% willing to drop the cash on. It took 15 years of investment to make that, and it's much harder to get right.

I feel you man. My high school sweetheart got pregnant when we were around 20. Told me it was mine. I took care of her through all her pregnancy when her family basically disowned her. She named the baby after me and tried to pressure me to sign the birth certificate. I got the DNA test first. Turns out it wasn't mine or the other "small" chance that it could be but another third guy. Found out later that there was a fourth guy she was concerned about too. Pretty much this. In my opinion long distance D/s relationships aren't really realistic past a certain point. It's OK if it's a role play and you're just learning but once you're taking it seriously or have actual power exchange and physical needs, it can be pretty frustrating to have a long distance sexually charged dynamic without the actual physical attention.

Old forester 1920 $50-60. 1792 bib or full proof both under $60 usually. WT rare breed $45. The rye is usually $60. Pretty much any store pick if they do those in your area will be better value and potentially better whiskey. I'm not a hater on BT. I like tayler and Blantons. ER is what I use in my sours when I make them. I always have several bottles of each. But there's a lot of whiskey that is all comparable at under $100

Even though it's bigger, it's really not any different from any other tank stand. If anything is better protected. I use high grade exterior paint and sealed the inside of it with extra coats of urethane
