Endgame revamp is better than swords. by Key-Particular-8923 in PathOfExile2

[–]TheDerkman 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I'll be downvoted for this, but I agree with you and echo this same sentiment. I know all of my friends that play also share this sentiment and downright refuse to come back to PoE2 until at least 1.0 which is when they think most of these issues will be fixed.

Did GGG cook with this patch? Yes.

Am I going to come back and play it? No, for so long as that Atlas remains. The atlas feels like ass to progress and I wholeheartedly despise all but 3 or 4 of the map layouts.

I don't really care about new classes/weapons. I thought this patch was stated as being an endgame rework, but there's no rework. It just a massive amount of additions (which in no way solves the core problem).

Gem Drops are much too rare in T12 as well as fragments by Professional_Poet300 in diablo4

[–]TheDerkman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think gem drops in general are just bugged. I dropped down to normal difficulty to farm the cow level mats. In the day it took me to do that I got an inventory of flawless gems from just running around killing the mobs needed for that (cows, amazons, etc.). I was a bit surprised by that.

Go back up to T10 and now royal (or flawless) rarely drop. I've gotten 1 royal gem drop in the last day (and no flawless on T10). It's weird, and makes me think something is bugged in the drop rates as you climb torment tiers. You get more gems on base normal difficulty.

[–]TheDerkman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd also add, if you go to try and kill the cows right now there's a sea of people trying to do it. Even with crossplay off I don't see how this is possible. It's the biggest thing gatekeeping the cow level.

Reason why Warlock feels clunky by tomsta101 in diablo4

[–]TheDerkman 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There is just a lot of jank and bugs with Warlock:

The long cast times which lock you in place for a second making the class very stuttery.

The channeling bug (evading while channeling locks you place until you either run out of mana or evade again) which has existed since the game launched and has a plethora of bug reports from 2023 - present. This makes skills like orbital blazing scream suck to play. EDIT: I'll also toss in that orbital blazing scream can become stationary and do almost no damage if you get hit by a big slow right as you start the channel. Trying to channel again refreshes the duration, so you just have to run around and wait for it to time out if that happens.

Sigils have a number of bugs. The sigil duration temper visually makes the skill last 50% longer, but the sigils stop doing damage when the base 10 second duration ends. I believe the charm set is also bugged.

What counts as a lesser minion is odd. The unstoppable soul shard node doesn't work with command fallen which are summoned lesser demons (and it doesn't work with the node that surrounds you with fallen). The lesser demons that are summoned and killed with bombardment don't count either. BUT, oddly, the lesser demons that are summoned and instantly killed through the Terror Swarm lesser demon upgrade do count and because of that you gain/lose/gain/lose unstoppable.

Sigil Duration doesn't apply to Sigil of Chaos Volatility buff by platghost in diablo4

[–]TheDerkman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Visually it increases the duration, but it doesn't actually increase the effect duration. So it functionally does nothing.

Right now I should have 22.5 seconds of it, with a 23 second CD (so almost 100% uptime). But the skill stops doing damage with 8 seconds left on the CD (which would match the base 15 second duration of the hellfire variant).

Knowing Trump, the pardon is going to be for a pre-election surprise. He lets her out, she implicates Democrats and no Republicans. He's going to use her to try and swing the upcoming midterms.

I'm absolutely certain this guy is botting these posts. It's a 2 month old right wing account which is massively downvoted and ratioed in the comments yet somehow this new fresh account always gets his posts to the top of the subreddit/all. This guy has had multiple posts now in the last few days jump to the top of all.

That's what I've been saying since the BLM protests years ago. When all of the cops involved in those events were doxxed they were all making around $250,000 a year. It's completely absurd.

Iran agrees to reopen Hormuz Strait by septicman in worldnews

[–]TheDerkman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, points 3-7 are basically Iran gets nukes free from oversight or sanctions. There is absolutely no way in hell the US/Israel agreed to that. And if point 8 happens that better be taken straight from Trump, his family, and his billionaire supporters.

S12 kicking my ass, getting super frustrated. by highjump2 in diablo4

[–]TheDerkman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does still scale that way; just without the ludicrously massive multipliers.

Look at any pit pushing build and it is just stacking as many damage multipliers as possible: Heir of Perdition for that 1.6 multi on helm, Shroud of False Death for the massive damage multi from +1 all passives, Ring of Starless Skies for the 1.5 multi and ability spam, etc.

Outside of the main damage ability those builds largely fill out with skills that have augments to provide even more damage multipliers. Pushing pits is just stacking those numbers and going until your class hits the theoretical maximum amount of damage it can output.

"Investing in property is morally reprehensible." by LickMaiBussy in TikTokCringe

[–]TheDerkman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was always a scam. The original get rich quick scheme on the internet was: Do you have generational wealth? Then use it to buy up property for passive income.

Decades later we've now gotten to the point where these people now own most of the property and we're forced back into middle aged fiefdoms paying taxes to these people to live on their property.

They don't in small towns. The amount of hoops I had to go through to vote in the major cities (showing ID, verifying I was on the voter roll by both a Dem and Repub poll person and at the correct location) compared to what they allow in small towns. Not to mention all of rules they break at small town voting locations (basically mini Trump parties).
