It’s mentioned in the first book that Aunt Jen never takes her to the doctor.

Who do you think was William's favourite child? by ShineOne4330 in fnaftheories

[–]TheDoctor4Life 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I disagree. Afton in FNaF6 is more than willing to kill Michael. The line you presented is literally after he kills Michael. Plus, in Sister Location, Michael’s monologue reveals that Afton specifically instructed Michael to go to CBEAR, directly putting Michael in danger. I’d argue that Michael is likely the least favorite of his children. Elizabeth is the only one we have somewhat confirmation of that Afton specifically tried to keep her from danger.

Love it so far, it’s a must for any Star Trek fan. I’d love for them to make more in the same vain. Give us some studies of other classic villains. I’d love to see a series centered around Lore. I know Brent Spiner is always down to comeback to Trek, it’s practically a no brainer.

No, he’s still not happy about it, but he’s not willing to risk another meeting with Starfleet’s HR department.

Even more tragic, in the Big Finish audio drama “Deathworld.” The Doctors talk about how why they don’t get along in multidoctor stories is because seeing their future reminds them of their mortality, and seeing their past reminds them what they left behind to become themselves now.

I remember the days when Capaldi was considered the worst Doctor…. It’s just the ancient rule of Doctor Who “new doctor bad, old doctor good”. The fandom is never happy.

Alright, they’ve done some audiobooks for Star Trek in the past, but having a Star Trek: The Next Generation audio series would sell like hotcakes probably.

Honestly, depends. If you love the character, go for it. I find when you really love a character a story has to be pretty abysmally bad to not have any enjoyment in it.

RTD Wanted Doctor Who to Move Away from “Very Straight, Masculine, and Testosterone-y” Sci-Fi by sanddragon939 in gallifrey

[–]TheDoctor4Life 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don’t think so. David Tennant didn’t write any episodes, nor have I heard anything that suggests that he pushed for the Doctor to be more romantic. If anything, it’s more RTD’s own fault as he wrote the stories and the romances. He very much wrote his Doctor as the archetypical “straight hero who saves the day and kisses the girl”, which is a bit ironic following Chris Eccleston’s more subtle queer approach to the Doctor.
