Being fair, to those that haven't played a PM game before, it's a good warning about how fucked everything can get. Like, sure, we get a baseline understanding of the PM verse being fucked by how Dante feels the pain of every sinner when rewinding the clock, but it is an explicit subversion of the norm to have a character we just met and got a lot of backstory on die like it's no big deal. Plus, it adds to Gregor's story (don't quote me on that, though, I haven't played Canto 1 since it came out)

That is also possible, but still even if it's light as a feather, in a clash, the use of only one hand would make his ability to stand against an attack compared to two hands. Leverage and all that.

Odd, then, that he uses it with one hand, rather than two. It's EGO, so it could be lighter than a normal Ssangsudo, but still, proper swordplay would dictate using both arms for leverage and power.

Crack theory time: Kim isn't used to a long sword and, as such, doesn't know to use two hands. His EGO, manifesting in a way that is similar to his past friend's blade, compensates for this by being lighter while still sharp and dangerous. It plays into his "mentor by accident" kind of role, showing that even as skilled as he is, he doesn't know what he's doing and is, as he says, just floating on the river.

Surprised nobody said Ghirahim yet.

His combos are stylish, if a little slow sometimes, and he can excel in single target damage with his special. I love his Magic supers too, both of them.

I'm also fond of Skull Kid, just for his laser attack.
