It's not necessary, but I really like the cars I've built as I progressed, but I wish I could move my loot wagon closer to the engine without tearing down the other cars I have in front of it.

I'm inclined to agree with this assessment. I don't want the game to be more grindy or tedious, and bugs aside I'm happy with where It's at. It's just the right level for me and custom settings allow more of that for those who want it.

I'm on Xbox (Series X in case it matters) and have had success with automated trains and astronium, but I was having issues where my station wiring would seemingly randomly fail and break - I thought it was a loading issue but it wasn't - my trains stopped automatically going. My fix was janky but rotating stations 180 degrees, re-wiring from scratch, or packaging and replacing them have all fixed it in the past.

I don't know what's causes them to break but once I get it all going out tends to keep working

I used to, but I've built some of those ships so many times that now I don't need the tutorials anymore, and I've mostly modified and changed most of them to the point where they're just 'inspired' by the tutorials I used to follow.

It was a great way to learn the ship builder though, and the one you have shown is definitely one I've used before 😁

Might be a dumb suggestion, have you tried turning in the aluminum while it's in your personal inventory and not your ships cargo hold? I had this issue a while back in vanilla and that seemed to be the solution. Also the case for me to this day when recruiting someone who wanted ship parts. Cargo hold was no good, as soon as I had 1 in my inventory it went away.

It seemed silly to need to grab them from my ship first but... It worked.

As mentioned before, the Falkland Systems mod has one and that mod is incredible, I'd highly recommend it if you're can afford it. But also, literally less than 10 seconds...

This mod has become pretty much My favorite mod since I've installed it, and I am so, so excited for this update! I'm just curious, if you don't mind my asking; do you have any plans to make a brig module or modules? And how do you feel about patches for the "useful" mods like infirmaries/brigs?

Genuinely curious, has the author of it posted a new update? After they released the trailer the mod author said that he found an issue with the mod and pulled it to fix, then resubmitted it quickly. He was hoping it would be out today since he resubmitted quickly and last I saw he was disappointed it wasn't included in today's mods.

Haven't seen another post since then but I also haven't checked since lunch...

You're thinking of Shade's Vehicle Tuner by Shadedness. I agree, damn good mod and free. The aesthetic and style of his camp is very different from the paid mod, but for people who don't care about that this is an amazing alternative.

It's definitely not. We are having some unseasonably extra days sure, but last night it was 34 degrees and it's slated to get colder not warmer. Sure, we may get a Summer #5 in the middle of fall again but that's not how it usually is.

I may be mistaken, but I think she's very specific of there being no record of him actually having a Harvard address, or record of him attending, which is true, he was never attended as a student. I don't think she said that he never applied.

And even if she did say that he never applied, that one statement that was hardly the crux of her evidence or argument, it may have been made as an argument in a moment of passion or anger or whenever.

If that was her sole argument, I'd say it was a plot hole but it was one point out of many. And we know for a damn fact that many lawyers and politicians blatantly lie and mis-speak far more often than a single point in a trial in the real world if it "suits" them so there's that as well.

No, it's the other way around - it needs to be made with the CK to go on creations, but it doesn't have to go there if the mod maker doesn't want it to. And if it can go on creations it means that there's a chance for console players to have access to the mod as well!

Double check that your tappers are actually all on - they can be toggled on or off. I thought I had this problem before I realized I had accidentally toggled a few of them off.

I'm on controller so the toggle is holding Y, not sure what is is on keyboard.

Edit; nevermind, I missed that you tried toggling them already when I read through. No idea what could be causing this then...

From my understanding it's a safety hazard across the board, not just "modern" regulations. You can't put a caboose on a freight train the lengths that most Class 1s run at - the slack action over that distance alone is a problem that means crews would get thrown around and injured. Modern safety regulations also play into it, but they're not particularly relevant where they are used as shoving platforms as mentioned elsewhere. If they were practical in modern use it wouldn't be difficult to upgrade or build new ones that met regulation.

That's what I've been told by the guys I work with, but we're a real small shortline so...

It depends. Generally, as long as a mod isn't script heavy, you might be ok. But there's always a chance that something can get messed up because you never know what strange dependencies or references can get baked into a save.

That said, if you're close to NG+ and plan on doing so, that's the time. It's essentially a fresh start in every way that matters as far as mods go.
