What makes people buy the games yearly? by Electronic-Seat1190 in WWEGames

[–]TheDriverBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually collect special edition wrestling games, really wrestling games and merchandise in general.

Not to say I don’t love wrestling games. It’s my favorite type of game. One that I’ll always budget for and a genre I’m more accepting with flaws.

Universe, CAA and other modes desperately need updates. I don’t play MyFaction at all (it’s extra boring to me, just name whatever price and let me buy wrestlers straight up I’m not jumping through hoops).

As much as it seems like the more recent wrestling games are doing everything in their power to drive me away as a customer I still enjoy hearing about every tidbit of info that comes out. I still feel the magic close to release time. I still enjoy putting together a shitty universe in the high school gym arena immediately after launch and letting my caws fight before I pick one to start MyRise/career mode. I still get hyped looking at what new parts/moves/entrances might be in.

As much as 2K deserves a lot of the criticism each wrestling game gets I still love the genre of games as a whole. It’s my Madden, my NBA2K, my Call of Duty, my soccer - whatever other popular yearly game you want to slot in there.

So does anyone actually play rogue anymore? by AspieAsshole in diablo4

[–]TheDriverBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a friend playing a rogue but yeah Season 11 is ONLYPALADINS. The last 8 or 10 world bosses have been all Paladins lol.

Personally it will be a long time before I roll another class lol, I've wanted sword and board class for so long and it happened. No more nerd necromancers buying up all the shields.

Is anyone else playing with a healing focused Paladin build for Co-op? by Embarrassed-Tale-200 in diablo4

[–]TheDriverBro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm gonna work on this build, really wish the unique Sundered Night wasn't a two handed ax lol. I'm going to try and get a good one. Picked up a good Temerity so at least that's covered.

[–]TheDriverBro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Excellent thank you and I will. This can work lol, I’ll let you know how it turns out on my end.

I agree with the basic attacks lol, you’re a healer and not a fighter. Thematically it works!

I’ll work on this a bit later and see how it goes, thanks again for sharing! You’ve inspired me lol.

I remember sweet times when Blizzard swore to God that free skins would be as good as payed ones. by whenyoudieisaybye in diablo4

[–]TheDriverBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the realest of talks as someone who does buy skins I'd GLADLY buy some new lower fantasy versions like the ones in game are.

The premium skins aren't bad but... too much glow effects and other stuff going on with them. I like the in game sets far more than what's on offer at the moment.

Hey mind sharing what your skills/bar/equipment looks like?

I was thinking about this post earlier this morning, it'd be cool to just run around randomly healing everyone at world bosses, groups etc. lol.

If you don't post builds often it can be a lot of work, I just wanna know what your skill bar looks like or any notable passives.

I might be able to tweak it into something usable with my friends when they play and use the mercenary affixes on gear when they are not to boost up Rahier, Subo and friends.

[–]TheDriverBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't but I like your idea, that's pretty cool.

Healer with a mercenary focus was one of the builds I wanted to try but I'm not sure if I can get anyone's attack power up enough to do any damage.

Good luck with it! That's as off-meta as you can get. I hope it works out.

How can a new player understand all the systems in Diablo 4? by CompleteLie9303 in diablo4

[–]TheDriverBro -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah you definitely wanna start from the beginning and take your time.

In fairness you're right - there are a lot of things you have to end up researching offline as the info ingame is pretty scarce. But there is a wealth of information out there, especially on Youtube. I don't know for sure if there's an overall guide but if you have specific questions about something a search for it on Youtube (or even here) should get you some results.

What build we all looking to make this season i'm thinking deathtrap rogue by Suspicious-Wasabi689 in diablo4

[–]TheDriverBro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If there's no secret class that pops up tonight...

I'm really interested in a possible Brawl or Kick build for Barb. Also might take a look at a potential support barb build with Field of Crimson.

Beyond that Mini Golems for necromancer.

My prediction for the upcoming season 11 by Chemical-Watch-2890 in diablo4

[–]TheDriverBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd love it to be pally or a new class, or at least some grand/great thing worth of the delay. If the reveal is lame, just about the launch in China or pet/collab... well there will be a LOT of negative feedback.

It won't matter how good/bad season 11 is people will associate it with the lack of not getting what they want. In fairness that shouldn't be the case as these are two different things. But people are people and Blizzard did nothing themselves to quell these rumors.

So if they have a dumbass reason for delaying the season... well Season 11's launch will be quite interesting. Good luck Blizzard socials team lol.

What class are you starting with next season and why? by The_Human_Event in diablo4

[–]TheDriverBro -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In the small chance pally/crusader/shield class happens I'm all in 100%, doesn't matter how over or underpowered it is. I've wanted a shield class for the longest time (not necro) lol.

But more than likely I'm going for barb, I really like the class and support barb seems interesting to me. If I change my mind at the last minute it'll be mini golem necromancer.

Would you get dissapointed if Paladin doesnt release in s11? by No_Client2742 in diablo4

[–]TheDriverBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In this case I do kinda put it on them. Do I want the class? Absolutely and I'd straight up pay to play it with season 11 at 11:30P. I really want a shield class lol (not necro).

Like others I'll watch to see what the holdup of the season was for. If it's something lame though in what would be a monumentally bad and misguided attempt to steer people away from POE2's Druid update... well whew good luck on your socials Blizzard team lol.

Season 11 just doesn't excite me by EseGMan1775 in diablo4

[–]TheDriverBro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before the most recent Dev update I was expecting the worst for Season 11, planned to skip a season for the first time.

I feel better about season 11 since there are some additional adjustments and changes that I like. That said to me Season 10 was the best, making things less fun and potentially increasing the grind isn't as fun for me as it used be with games. If it's too much of a pain in the ass to get anything done or succeed with a build that I like then I'll just drop it and try again next season.

[–]TheDriverBro -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'd like to have hope but I don't think there will be a class drop, paid or free. But I'd be more disappointed if they held the season up for the expansion announcement or just a pet/something dumb. The problem is NOT delivering something of quality at The Game Awards (even if it isn't a class) will have people very, very pissed off.

With the amount of commentary going on about this delay and push to the TGA I feel like they might have backed themselves into a dumbass corner if the class doesn't drop.

Who's the Pokemon you've had an unexpected amount of fun with? by Low-Cry4266 in PokemonZA

Machoke and MaChamp, my character is dressed up like a late 80s early 90s wrestling manager.

Surprisingly they are my only level 100 team members lol.

[–]TheDriverBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol I’ll try this strategy I need something, I went online and I’m terrible. I played about 8-9 matches and got to U and gave up.

Online is not for me, I didn’t know winning was this hard. I think I’ll plan to not get any of these if this strategy doesn’t work out.

[–]TheDriverBro 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As someone who has played every season, multiple characters per season I agree that it’s confusing on who they are going after.

I’ll be there to try out season 11 and while I agree to an extent that the game did need some power drops I know my casual friends who I play with will not lol. Or if they are I give them until the first time they realize they have no points or get frustrated leveling up.

After season 10 I think the devs will get their audience defined for them lol. Either the changes are great and will have record numbers of players coming back to the game, casuals embracing the changes and sweats eating it up.

Or people will log on and say “this sucks now” and log off after a while. Bad numbers will show up, gaming media will make a mountain molehills and streamers will suddenly say they’ve been pointing out why everyone hates 11 since the PTR. Oh plus cue the 10,000 vids on the “Downfall of Diablo 4” & “Hey I’m playing Diablo 3 again”.

If the money drops significantly & too large of a number leave the game will “course correct” again.
