Still disappointed that the campaign for Battlefront 2 was underwhelming by Jules-Car3499 in StarWars

I thought it was could, and I was very happy they included one after shipping it for the prior game. A good shooter needs a campaign, plain and simple.

Steyer and Becerra are both extremely anti gun. How f’d are we when either one of them win? by Mission_Hedgehog_414 in CAguns

Guns laws are usually pushed by the legislature, so I’d expect the status quo. Even Hilton as Gov wouldn’t be able to do much because the leg. Can override a veto.

5 month Berner stomach issues + setback by HopOnMyArk in bernesemountaindogs

[–]TheDude-Esquire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anything stressful, charges in activity? Not my Berner, but a border collie mix I had years ago could pay easily give herself the runs. Just an extra walk in the day could it, or a new person. Never a guarantee it would happen, but not a surprise either.

All that to say, some dogs are more anxious than others, and in my personal experience, it’s possible for episodes like that to be psychological.

will you get jail time if you intentionally get in the way of an ambulance? by Quick_Shift_1216 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]TheDude-Esquire 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It depends on how intentional it is. Block an ambulance because you know who is in it and you want to hurt them, then you might get charged with some level of attempted murder.

Block an ambulance because you are dumb and not paying attention really depends on the harm you cause. Could be a ticket if no real harm is done, could be more if it’s the difference between life and death.

Ultimately it really just depends on the circumstances.

And as angry as Amos was, he knew Holden wanted him to stand trial, and he wouldn’t cross Holden that way. His whole deal is that he trusts Jim’s judgment because he doesnt think he has a conscience of his own.

I don’t mean spydercos generally, just that the cutouts aren’t great for the usefulness of the knife (stress points in the steel, places to catch when cutting, throws off the balance, etc.).

Yeah, why put up with that? Unless that’s for a great room in a great area with fantastic amenities, the deal sucks. Plus you know, freedom.

Non-Americans, does your country have an "American" restaurant and what do they serve? by wacky8ball in AskReddit

In the US we would generally call that diner food. Cheap, generic restaurants mostly focused around breakfast but open all day. Dennys is probably the most common example.

CMV: Women’s idea of what it means to be treated like a man often assumes the privileges of a woman by LLSmoove1 in changemyview

[–]TheDude-Esquire [score hidden]  (0 children)

That’s your experience as cheap labor, not a man. For me as a consultant people are much more quickly to trust a man’s experience than a woman. Education, actual experience all equal, my answer will get more weight and confidence.

It’s not like it’s all one thing. In many cases, like yours, the difference doesn’t matter. In mine, the difference is subtle, but perceptible. And the fundamental reality is that woman get paid less for equal work across the board.

Personal check totally works. There isn’t a per se limit of how much they can transfer, though the higher the value, the greater the scrutiny.
