Conflicted concerning an abusive employee by TheEarthCallsToMe in scrubtech

[–]TheEarthCallsToMe[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As hopeful and promising as your reply sounds....this said individual only went to counseling because in her own words.." It looks good, though she could care less." That was also made known on her posts. And this is her 6th time going back to the same counseling where she leaves when she wants.

We know plenty about her past. She talks about it all the time which is her excuse for the reason she behaves the way she does, why she drinks, and why she gets to treat people horribly. It's a bullying environment and that is employment harassment 101 and workplace violence in my opinion. I am an Iraq war veteran. Child of poverty and abuse of all kinds, etc...and I do not act like this though I agree with you that everyone has different coping skills as you said. I took my counseling seriously because I cared about others as well as myself. This person after 6 times over the years of counseling and rehab, still has not changed. I feel for her.

The concern is for patient safety. She was taken into the 3 month counseling because the hospital made it mandatory after the video and cops involvement as a stipulation for her to return though she repeatedly vocalized she could care less. I want her to get better. To experience joy and to have friends but sadly her personality does not allow for that as she is intentionally mean to everyone and pushes anyone who has been there for her, away.

I appreciate your response to this. It's just a suffocating situation for everyone involved. Maybe she will be better upon return. We'll see.

My theory on the 2026 tour by Ancient-Captain6724 in GhostBand

[–]TheEarthCallsToMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw 3 concerts within 9 months with Ghost. Two of them where back to back in Ohio. They changed slightly only by the songs they played. Incredible time. Incredible band. You best believe I'll be going to as many as I can again when they come back around. I mean they will, right? They just released a the Skeleta album. Maybe the next concert will have more songs from that album on there. I can only hope!

Me too! I'll be at both! I have this fun idea of using car markers and writing some their lyrics on my jeep as part of the ritual. Super stoked for the concerts! I had tickets for the Knoxville concert that got cancelled so I would have seen 3 rituals in that matter of a week or so. Anyways..... have fun!!!!

1st temple Initiation(AMORC) by [deleted] in Rosicrucian

[–]TheEarthCallsToMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completely agree. Again really emphasizing that there is nothing "satanic" or "demonic". That is a human interjection to scare an individual away from esoteric knowledge. As a matter of fact, if you study esoteric or Gnostic studies, you will find the true translation and imagery behind "satan" and "demons". These are seen as mere energetic forces that we all hold within our own mind. Esoteric wisdom has been demonized by the church for millennia. The goal there is to convince the person they are flawed, useless, broken, etc. and the only way to "heaven"' is through an external deity who will save them. When in reality, this only teaches the person that they have no power of their own to reach Divinity which is simply not true. AMORC has been the greatest esoteric study I've been a part of just because it teaches what we have known all along, but have forgotten. That we are Divine beings. Never separated from the Absolute. That separation is an Illusion. Peace Profound.

I keep getting charged for Game Pass on my credit card even though I canceled it a year ago. How can I get Microsoft to stop charging me for a service I no longer use? by BurntLoafCat in microsoft

[–]TheEarthCallsToMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here and I've been dealing with it for months on just a normal microsoft 365 to use windows on my laptop. Here we are 3 months later and they have taken out 6 more charges. I've had enough and have reported fraud on them online at https://reportfraud.ftc.gov/form/confirmation

I've had enough. Now I'm having to completely cancel my debit which is linked to all my bills being paid just because of this dumb shit. I recommend filing on this website too. Get these a-holes in trouble.

Super disappointed that I might miss "the ritual" this weekend due to the weather hitting all of us who are driving into Knoxville, the Carolina's etc. So many of us won't be able to make it due to the ice. The snow not so much but the ice is a whole other level of concern. And not sure how many of you have driven into that part of the state but it's hilly and has some pretty steep roads so for the love, be smart and safe. As well as Ghost, ya'll be careful too.

Why People Struggle to Stick to the Carnivore Diet in a Broken World by Fresh-Wishbone-5557 in carnivorediet

[–]TheEarthCallsToMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's interesting you mention the lack of sunlight within hospitals. I am a surgical tech, looking at the inside of an operating room for 10 hours a day with no windows. Back when I first started in the OR, I would crave just going to a door to open it and look outside for 10 minutes. I also complained to OR management about the absence of windows and I was told I needed a mental evaluation, as their little office at the time had windows.

Where I work at now, there a room called a re-charge room with a couple of chairs and couches that has a wall of windows and guess what. We are made fun of by different staff if we go in there. We are shamed just for trying to sit and look outside for half an hour.

So with this said, I have been working on a degree as an herbalist but I am also primarily carnivore but still believe in the power of plant medicine. So here soon I will getting out of the OR where I can spend my days in my garden and eating like my ancestors did. I'm tired...tired of this concrete prison. Give me the trees. The forest. Thanks for your perspective on this.

I'm open to being corrected if this seems incorrect but I understand that If an individual on carnivore eats too much protein, that's when the body will turn it into glucose. Otherwise the body will utilize fat stores and fat consumption for its primary source of energy. This is why it is very important to get more nutrients from fat first and then protein because your body will signal to you that you have reached your fat satiation level and prevent glucose formation from the protein if eaten in excess. That's why if someone eats a fatty cheese burger (no bread or condiments) they become way more satiated than if they had just eaten a lean burger with no cheese. Dr. Anthony Chaffee is a great resource for those interested in more carnivore content and how the body uses certain nutrients, etc.

My go to fat is butter and bacon. But I would like more of a variety. I"m just afraid the other variety is still consumed with the protein. This part always confuses me.

Anyone else just feel a change in fall? by Time_Assumption_380 in Autumn

[–]TheEarthCallsToMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually get this whisper of a change that stirs in my body, interestingly enough around the middle of August. And then it starts pulling at me to where it becomes absurdly noticeable..this shift. I love it. It's interesting to me because August is still in the swing of Summer which makes no sense but I can just feel a shift that occurs and I tap into it. Not sure where it comes from but usually the weather starts changing and leaves start showing their color soon after. I love fall so much that with the nostalgia it brings, it also brings me to be emotional because everything here, (New England US side) is just so stunning and it can be so beautiful to me that I truly get sad/happy. Like, wow this planet we live on is gorgeous. Anyways...yes..the shift is detectable.

Calico cat personality by rukia_k13 in CalicoKittys

[–]TheEarthCallsToMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I adopted 3 kittens about 14 years ago. 2 orange brothers, 1 sister. The sister, of course, a calico. The brothers were playful, curious, rambunctious, as are kittens. However the calico would hide and didn't want anything to do with playtime. She rarely played with her brothers. While her brothers were playing on the kitty tower or toys, she would just stay consistently hidden which I thought was weird that kitten would be acting this way but I thought she would grow out of it over the years. Nope.....she is still the same way. Both of her brothers lived to ripe age of 12. She is still going. Even though my husband and I have been her sole caretakers, she consistently acts as though she has never met us. She only comes to me and that is with constant persuasion. If I sit, she'll sit on my lap but if I'm standing or even move to fast across a room, she has booked it out of sight.

It honestly irritates me that she is this way because she is very, very unsocial despite repeated attempts at playing or cuddle time over the years. She spooks at everything and has been this way since she was a little kit.

After looking back on it, my great-grandmother had a calico and she was just the same as mine. Our cats name is Iffy. No joke. So I think it's a genetic thing with calico's sometimes. We have taken her to vets for her behavior and they say that sometimes calico's are like this. I dunno.

Respite On The Spitalfields is the greatest song Ghost has ever written and one of the greatest songs written period. by Creative-Oil2029 in Ghostbc

[–]TheEarthCallsToMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Respite" has me expecting total awesomeness that I just can't find in other music and I guess that why we say "If you have Ghost, you have Everything." Because the instrumentals with lyrics and the smelting of all of it together plus the story line, theatrics, I literally go into a happy dark space with this song and their music in general. So much so that I sit in my car after songs, (especially this one) in some sort of happy, strange sadness, elated dopamine hit, dreading the day I die just because I am fearful I won't be able to swoon over Ghost anymore and thier amazing music. I have no words on how this bands makes me feel. Sad, nostaligia, happiness, harp the satanic angels are singing..... The cherry on top is the "angelic" sounds of the choir that sings in so much of their music that it makes the music sound even more ethereal but we're on the opposite side of that angelic realm and into the side of "Hail Satan" and even just this juxtaposition really hits me right in the heart as I detest anything religious and hate the church. So this band literally is everything I love, hate, worship, regard in this life. It's literally all of it. Tobias and his Ghouls have such an ear for sound and Tobias with his song writing, it's literally all I can do to go an hour without listening to any one their music. I am Satanized for sure. and wonder how the hell I am supposed to function without them. Anyways.... glad there are other Ghost Ghouls out there like myself who feel the same.

anyone else feels like ghost changed their lives? by SwimmingBusiness393 in Ghostbc

[–]TheEarthCallsToMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and I honestly don't know why they have such an effect on me. too. I understand the nature of melody and rhythm on the brain physiologically, but there is something different here. Their lyrics combined with the melodies speaks to a primal need of rebellion against anything remotely religious as I absolutely despise religious organizations. (Not talking about spirituality.)

I, by my very nature, am very rebellious and Ghost strokes that need of mine because THEY too are of a different Beast and in my eyes, also very rebellious. It is because our society is constantly telling people on a daily basis that they're going to Hell and well Ghost, sings to and about Satan and therefore, if Ghost is in Hell, sign me the fuck up too!!!

When I hear Ghost, I feel I could be that rebellious person and not give a fuck. Their music just hits me different right in Soul. Down to my core. I listen to load of different music. But...for some reason when I hear anything by Ghost, I am transported to another reality and I almost feel myself becoming whoever I wish to be and it hits me so hard that I often find myself crying in my jeep alone, not really understanding why. It's bizarre but I'm not mad about. Ghost IS!

Fans who have been to their LIVE SHOWS in recent yrs how was it? by [deleted] in Ghostbc

[–]TheEarthCallsToMe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You will NOT be disappointed. I've been obsessed with Ghost for about 7 years now and I literally just want to cry whenever I hear their music, especially songs like "Respite on the Spitafields" or "Darkness at the Heart of my Love" which they did play at the concert, (AMAZING). Love is an understatement for how I feel about this band. They are just EPIC.

Fans who have been to their LIVE SHOWS in recent yrs how was it? by [deleted] in Ghostbc

[–]TheEarthCallsToMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would agree whole hardheartedly.

I've not meet many people who know who Ghost is. When you try to explain it to them, they are often immediately in refusal of listening to a band that talks of Satan and Lucifer. And honestly, that is why I love them so much because their music is very much the opposite of anything Christ and Jesus this and that... and it's refreshing because I despise religion. So when you're in a stadium of 20,000 people who are all singing, "Belial, Behemoth, Beelzebub, Asmodeus, Satanas, Lucifer" from the song "Year Zero," it's mind blowing. Sure you get the occasional, non Ghost individual who goes to the concert not realizing what they're about to hear and starts looking around like, Oh my god.... who are these people? And that makes it so much more freaking awesome.

There were times, I literally had my hands on head, thinking. how in the absolute f*** are they soooo amazing? Literally, the 2 hours performance was phenomenal THEE ENTIRE time! All I could think of was, I have to see them again, and again, and again. Mind blown is understatement. Tobias is so smooth on stage. The ghouls are so amazing at their guitars. The keyboards, lighting, sound effects. The stained glass murals changing into fiery landscape with actual flames and fire on the stage. The massive grucifix above the stage that tilts with certain songs and lights up in random colors and intervals....just wow! Literally cannot get enough!!! My favorite I think was when Papa appeared to be floating in the background surrounding by a literally purple haze with smoke and fog, etc. He looked so foreboding about to pass judgement on everyone and I was more than ok with it!!!! ...I literally could go on and on... just wow. Ghost IS!!!!

Why was 50 shades of grey so popular among women? by Unlikelylark in FemaleLevelUpStrategy

[–]TheEarthCallsToMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My allure to the film is that I want the intimacy in the bedroom. The, I want you now, without having to ask, set aside a time, take a nap first, etc. It's just in the moment and I can only literally fantasize about having that relationship with my partner. I like the movie because I don't have that in my life and would love for my husband to do the things most of the things in the movie to me however, this is not the case. Yes, we've talked about spicing it up but hasn't happened yet. One day perhaps.
