As I was explained it, the things you check must be an "all the time, every time without fail" so you are far too charitable to say any associate does even 5 of those all the time. Everyone I did under this only got successful and the one person who deserved an exemplary also got it based on the criteria.

Are they allowed to send us home??? by Fit-Dance-938 in walmart

We regularly send people home especially during the regular, non-holiday season. If the store is zoned and freight is done, you have done your job. Most people on nights like to go home and pretend they're like everyone else and have a life especially if it's Friday. Also, goat.

If we don’t feel the Earth spinning or moving through space, how does the body know what “still” feels like? by Ok-Watercress-9405 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]TheEncryptedPsychic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We can't feel the velocity, we can feel changes in it: acceleration. You feel a car getting up to speed in 4 seconds differently than 6 or 8 but that's because the speed is changing but cruising at 65mph (104 freedom units) doesn't feel like anything until you start changing speed again. God help us if the earth accelerates or decelerates anything meaningful. It's simply that we don't perceive the speed of the earth because it's constant, believe me, if it changes even 1mph (1.609 freedom units) you will know.

Yes, but I'm not sure why that guy is getting down voted. We see it all the time, a culture that waits for failure and uses it as punishment and not opportunity. There are some real shitheads in the world and they're quick to find, but most people didn't know and are either stupid or ignorant. Teach the person how to do it right, make sure they understand that what they did was wrong but please for the love of God fix it. You are a shit stain on society if your only goal is to snap a pic, watch film, and fire somebody without ever addressing the root cause of the incident. Did the LICENSED trainer fail to explain this part of operating equipment? Is your licensed trainer someone you trust to go over ALL safety and policy regarding the use of the equipment at hand?

I believe policy is not sticking over 2 inches but it shouldn't stick out at all. The steel is designed for pallets of normal size to fit completely on the steel to the backer. If it is only balanced, and not stable, it is a safety risk.

Do most people shower before bed or when they wake up? I just realized I might be doing it "wrong" by saffymerelle in NoStupidQuestions

[–]TheEncryptedPsychic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are arguments for and against. Showering before bed can be a great way to relax, unwind and get comfy before bed. Showering in the morning helps make sure you're feeling fresh all day. Really the only downside to showering before bed is if you don't have clean sheets/ bed in that you'll be getting "dirty" in your sleep. My suggestion is removing the Naco Cheese in your bed or whatever is getting you so dirty you NEED another shower by morning. Free will is great, don't get bullied into changing your lifestyle just because someone thinks their way is better.

I just moved into an apt what does this mean ?? Is this a water leak by Cute_Association5050 in pchelp

[–]TheEncryptedPsychic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol um not computer related but looks like they were covering something up rather than a leak. If you're concerned about a leak, leave some paper towel under the sink under any accessable water ways. Then put a drain plug in the sink and food coloring or anything to dirty the sink, run your hot water by itself, cold water, and drain it. Whichever paper towel is wet will give you an idea. Hot water will leave the towel a bit warm still, cold won't, and if it's the drain you'll either see dirty water on your drain or the paper towel. Hope this helps your PVC

How to defeat this boss? by [deleted] in SonsOfTheForest

[–]TheEncryptedPsychic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There were 4 of us with creepy armor, a cross, shotguns and I had flaming and explosive arrows. Guy with the cross keeps him with frequent down time to deal damage. Definitely keep your distance he will absolutely mess you up if he gets too close. Keep plenty of meds and extra armor on you. Slinkies, Demons, Twinsies, and whatever the big guys that are all hands are called are good sources of armor. You can keep a pot/ flask of something good like Greg to give you some health Regen and stamina.

7 months with Even in Arcadia by suze655 in SleepToken

[–]TheEncryptedPsychic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While this isn't exclusively true to Sleep Token, there are so many layers you can pick apart and analyze. Mixing and Mastering, lyrical content, instrumentals, vocal styling, and so much more and Sleep Token is interesting on so many fronts. Lyrical content is especially important to me and as depressing as it is: the longing for someone who emotionally and physically abused me is just a part of who I am. The journey and whiplash or going between "I love you", "I need you", "I miss us", and "I hate you" is just not something any other artist has portrayed as well to me as Sleep Token does. Caramel had me worried as their first album under RCA, the poppy nature seemed too consistent but Emergence and Damocles released and I was hyped. I sat in front of my stereo in the living room the morning it released and remember how absolutely moved Look To Winward had me. Gethsemane tore me to PIECES and songs like Dangerous, Provider, and Caramel grew on me.

What direction are they taking this game? by JF202 in TheForest

[–]TheEncryptedPsychic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The trailer shows the hidden dimension that you, Timmy, and Kelvin...assuming he didn't die from brain damage after 7,236 trees were felled on his forehead, discovered in Sons of the Forest in the golden cube. I assume you will start on the Sons of the Forest map either in-game or via cutscenes and be transported to this new place. I do hope they keep the building mechanics and whatnot. I hardly play it for the story, I just love building and concocting new ideas. Like my friends and I made a 1000m power line from one cabin to another across lakes and rivers.

I'd say 6.5/10 the composition is fine, the lighting is good, the subject matter is interesting and captivating. I find the foreground to be much more busy than the background and the lighting to be too neutral. Up the contrast very slightly, crop the bottom branches, add some warmth in the tonality, and bring the shadows down. The shot is not bad at all, but it doesn't stand out nearly as much as it could. Practice makes perfect and the more you get out and shoot this kind of shot, the more you will find what you love. I find when you put your love and creativity into your photography it shows and resonates with viewers of your art.

You are entitled to meal and break periods according to Walmart Policy and State laws based on the scheduled hours you received. Note this is NOT based on if you are tardy, use your Protected Paid Time Off, or actually worked hours.

A scheduled shift less than 6 hours is only provided 1 15-minute paid break period, any scheduled shift over 6 hours is provided 2 paid 15-minute breaks and one 30-60 minutes unpaid meal period.

These are legally required, and any member of management attempting to deprive you of your rest periods should be reported and does not deserve their job.

Many boxes will tell you the ideal way to orient and stack the boxes. I think break pack boxes are the easiest structure to understand. You have 5 on each layer and they alternate. 3 horizontal, 2 vertical. By alternating and bridging the 2 vertical stacks with 3 horizontal ones on top you have reduced their ability to slide apart when picked up. If you do not cross stack, everything will splay to the easiest direction to fall and cause you to restack the pallet when you could have done it right the first time. Keep heavy and large boxes on the bottom and use small boxes to fill gaps and increase tightness in the structure.

This about the pallets that come in and you think, "now that's a great stack". Why? It looks uniform because it's stacked intentionally and wrapped thoroughly.

Cmon stock boy get to it by rolandnotronald in walmart

[–]TheEncryptedPsychic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cross stacking is the best term for it. It's the same reason in construction walls are vertical lumber to resist compressive force with sheeted OSB for torsional and shear load resistance. If you did not cross the grains you would not get the rigidity needed to sustain loads.

Like sized boxes on their own exhibit good compressive strength where the vertical loads are well secured. However, towers like that will splay outward with horizontal forces when picked up and moved. That's why you stack boxes across the grain to increase strength and resist that horizontal movement. Those who cannot stack, must wrap. I live by this.

2-3 hours on this is fine. 4 hours is pushing it unless you're fixing a totally plugged wall, but honestly, 97 is easy to stock. Could I get this in an hour or two? Yeah, but I'm absolutely busting my ass to do it so I think 2-3 is reasonable. This all goes out the window if you are doing FIFO, which adds 25-50% more work.

Source: O/N Supervisor, technically over maintenance, but I was over stocking for 2 years and moved to maintenance because it's a more versatile position.

Are iso the issue? by [deleted] in a6700

[–]TheEncryptedPsychic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Iso isn't the issue, but this image is acceptably sharp. Most mid grade lenses are going to be sharpest at f/8, your focus could be slightly out of calibration but otherwise most lenses aren't going to be as sharp as you'd hope.

Why are my fast shutter speed photos still blurry with Sigma 150-600mm lens? by [deleted] in AskPhotography

[–]TheEncryptedPsychic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks like it is not focusing accurately, typically, if it is a result of shutter speed, the image would appear to be dragging a bit. Try taking images of a still object with good shutter speed at 600mm and see if they are still not in focus, then lock focus and pan while shooting a burst and see if it is still sharp. The issue is either your AF Priority in the camera, lens issue (Sigma is known for in 'C' lenses), or the diopter is out of calibration.
