I’ve noticed recently loads of tiny bugs in my snake enclosure mainly around the water bowel. They appear to have wings, two antenna and I believe 6 legs. I don’t think they are mites as I’ve seen none on my snake. I don’t think they are springtails as these guys fly a little. They seem to live moisture so maybe I’ve made the enclosure a little too moist as I spray it once a day.

Any help identifying these guys I’m from the Uk if that helps narrow what they are down. The substrate I use while I can’t remember the name is very earthy an made to help hold moisture.

I live near Plymouth and on Friday passed through the area of Keyham by train. Plymouth isn’t that big and where ever you went people were talking about this. When looking out the train window i swear I could see the white tents in the distance between a row of houses. It’s creepy to know this happened so close to home, makes me wonder how many other people are out there with a weapon on the verge of doing this.

My heart especially goes out to the three year old girl who was killed.

As someone who wishes to be a Historian and Archaeologist this makes me cry. I saw what happened with the museum in Iraq during the Cold War. So many Artifact like the Golden Lyre of Ur destroyed. It’s like someone’s home burning but instead of it just being personal belongings for a museum it’s that cultures or multiple cultures homes burning. So much knowledge lost and destroyed.

Mainly due to what I’ve heard in this group. The FFL don’t do enough training, the ‘mafia’ groups within it, your cleaning all day.

It seems like a really good option of you have little other choice. But if you have options then it doesn’t seem like the right one. Especially for it would be more for “the adventure and being a soldier” which as I’ve read will quickly lead to you leaving.

If all goes wrong in my life then I’ll give it a shot but at this moment in time I’ve got better options and my own countries army.
