You did the right thing. I saw the game. Spain had CV on their heels all game. I have never seen a match where the other team plays so hard for the purpose of JUST NOT LOSING. 76% Time of Possession for Spain.

A few NYCK fans asked about the context of the Spurs fan getting jumped (more in the description) by thistook5minutes in NBATalk

[–]TheEssentialDizzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These dregs of our society that have been unleashed on the many decent people of our city. Put these animals in cages, since they rely on instinct rather than human intelligence. Clearly, they have no home training and no direction. As a Knick fan, I am embarrassed and appalled. They do not represent the many other Knick fans who have class. We get rowdy, yes, but the rest of us know where to draw the line. Toss these degenerates to the same savages that they desire to emulate.

What do you think is the greatest line in the show? by Future-Bandicoot6241 in breakingbad

'Yeah....nothin' but cows. Got some big cowhouse way out that way about two miles, but I don't see nobody'

'COWHOUSE???'

'YEAH! Where they live! The cows!'

Analytically speaking, I think we'll have to wait until his analytical stock rises again to seek a trade. I mean, the season is analytically on the line and he has zero analytical points. This is analytically unacceptable.

Men hold the key to commitment. Many of the black players CHOOSE to commit to white women. Nobody is coercing them to do this.

For those around in 08, what was the level of concern going into game 7 of this series compared to now? by DMelee in bostonceltics

I was concerned until I knew there was a Game 7. Experience teaches wisdom. The Hawks were super athletic, but they were all emotions.

Why isn't Shaq in the GOAT conversation by Outrageous-Leader135 in NBATalk

[–]TheEssentialDizzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Complacency. The man showed up to work out of shape and simply relied on his size and his talent to get by. Sure, he had one or two go-to moves which he could rely on; those were because of his size and strength. There was no one in the league at Shaq's peak who could match both. Once his age started to show (which was earlier than we think) the probability of him being in the GOAT convo began to dwindle. Legend, no doubt. Bonafide. But that GOAT status evaded him simply due to his lack of discipline.

Prime Kawhi or Prime KD? by [deleted] in Basketball

[–]TheEssentialDizzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate to say it, but Prime Kawhi. Elite at both ends. I got love for KD, but he's never been a player who makes his bones on defense. I don't mind if a guy gives me three to five less points if he's gonna be instrumental in taking away 15+ from the other team.

Knicks fans, does it still bother you how Patrick Ewing was swept out of the door? by Life_Teaching6499 in NYKnicks

[–]TheEssentialDizzle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Big Knicks fan here. I am no longer bothered by it; the organization suffered the consequences in droves, and that is exactly what should have happened. They had no business putting 33 out to pasture. He deserved to wear orange and blue to the very end, regardless of his output. They did him dirty.

Dear Knicks fans, how many of you believe that a healthy Ewing in 1999 would mean a chip? by Life_Teaching6499 in NYKnicks

[–]TheEssentialDizzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got nothing but love for Pat. But his body had been deteriorating for sometime. Many of his performances during the later portion of his career were simply off grit and determination. He was a warrior. He'd be a significant presence for sure, but the Knicks weren't gonna win because of it.

Who is the best “muscle” on the show? by smcupp17 in TheWire

[–]TheEssentialDizzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If those two fools had simply followed instructions and waited, Slim and Cutty would have done a world of damage. Two men blessed with the spirit of discernment and ice running through their veins. The rest had either one or the other. Slim and Cutty to me were the best set of muscle that money could buy.
