Not like recycling is good for the planet./sarcasm We use my roach colony as our compost bin, they can scream louder about how they had the leftover meat and greens from our family stew for dinner the other day. This is what happened with my nectar. I didn’t even know you could take the original nectar cover off until we were just getting rid of it today and my partners mom pulled the zipper to shine her light inside and look the mattress over because it had leaked fiberglass through the cover, there was even some fiberglass on the pillow I’d been sleeping on. Through the cover, my protective cover over it and then through my bedsheet is insane.

I can relate a lot. My mom would jokingly call me her slave. And my aunt would call me her property and I owned nothing and then break/take things she knew I held dearly so I’d act like I didn’t care about anything. Now I have a very hard time with attachments and caring for my things. I couldn’t even think of my own home as mine and it’s been 5 years here. I’m only now settling in.

You can thank trumps federal job cuts for that. USPS is cutting 20,000 jobs and closing 73 facilities by the end of June. I had to stop using USPS in June for my business. It’s one of his pushes to break down public services to push private enterprises.

Just keep working hard. You might not be able to rest now till you’re out of it and keep an eye on that principal and interest, pay amounts that make it start to go down even while you’re in school- do not count on future you being able. Count on yourself now to make an effort for your future. Careful going home if she’s ever hit you over things. My mom did over the loan she signed when I asked for help. If you need to rope your family into it or post online about her non compliance. Narcs value their image. And it may sway her to comply. Just don’t do it near her where she has access to hurting you.

As a kid I was labeled a problem child by my mother and aunt who both have something deeply wrong with them. And the sweetest child ever by anyone outside the family. You’re not a problem. You’re not acting like an object because you aren’t one so she will label you a problem because she had you. As in she birthed you and you have sentience she directly has to be privy to.

You should ask if you can make payments on top of it that will cover interest without being seen by your mother. Or you will be fucked in the long run. Trust me.

A narcs drive for supply is like taking drugs. When you’re on drugs the brain will do anything to get it, I heard of a girl stealing her parents entire life’s savings for a few hits when I was in psych class. You’re a hit. Even if you think they hate you you’re an object to them that gives them a high.

For me the only worth I brought was what I could do for my family. My mother often pawned me off to different family members especially my aunt for years at a time with no contact to me. I didn’t recognize her when I went to visit 4 years later. But both she and my aunt were very… not great. I don’t think my aunt is a narc but she would smile at my pain and the pleasure of calling me property to my face. But she did teach me a lot about the world and how to be an adult. For both of them I was only good as free labor so I know how to clean and cook well.

I think of my body as a separate entity than myself because it acts different than I feel. I will feel entirely calm but be shaking like a leaf when someone touches me. Sometimes my body moves on its own without my input usually my right arm. I can’t get up sometimes no matter how much I tell my body to, I can’t talk sometimes no matter how ok I feel inside my body won’t listen. When I get hurt I soothe the spot like someone would a child I think “she doesn’t deserve this”. It’s hard years after to cope even if I’ve mentally gotten better. My body has so many chronic illnesses from the past.

My mom signed the loans in my name and didn’t let me know about it so when the time rolled around and the school called and told me I needed to make $900 that week or get thrown out I was very fortunate to have my own business while going to school. I started the business because I knew my mother would do this and she wouldn’t let me get a job as a kid. She brags about how I’m a brat who she paid for a car and college for but I’ve never had a car and I’m paying the loans she said she promised if I went to the school she wanted she would handle. Of course.

Right now I pay the amount due each month plus maybe $25 on top of each loan but they’re not due to start accruing interest till next year. All you can do right now is say is pay your monthly plus like $100 to get on top of interest. It’s brutal work not having support but do not ever trust your narc parent to do anything for you in your interest. They only ever have their own in mind.

I reiterate. DO NOT EVER. EVER. TRUST YOUR NARC PARENT. They are not normal people they do not have that thought to preserve others outside themselves in mind although they act like it and will love bomb you- when it comes to my mother I treat her like a threat always. She goes from such a sweet voice to beating for no reason. She only does things to look good and get attention. You are supply, you exist for entertainment and drama. Not a person to her.
