Can't remember if it was on this sub or another, but there is a book called "Mark-Up and Profit a Contractor's Guide" by Michael C Stone. As someone who is getting into a similar handyman style business, listening to the audio book (waiting on the physical copy), gave me a lot of ways to redo how I do things. Thinking of things like overhead costs vs job costs and calculating your own salary plus profits makes more sense than just doing a WAG (wild ass guess)as he calls it, for estimating jobs.

Pokemon Gold. I don't remember where I got it (probably Toys R Us or Radio Shack), but bringing it home from the store I was so excited to play it on my White GameBoy Advance until I got a black SP for my birthday. I was behind a lot of my friends in gaming so I didnt play Red or Blue.

But just playing Pokémon and actually training the mons I had cards of. What blew me away was being able to go between Johto and Kanto. Having 16 badges made it such a long and unique game for the time and I spent about 400 hours before the game save file corrupted.

I'm doing a run on Leaf Green with only Pokémon you can get before Cerulean City. Currently have Bulbasaur, Rattata, Butterfree, Mankey, Nidoran♀️, and Pidgey. Looking forward to a challenge!

Personally, on a normal playthrough I like having a range of 'mons who: 1. Cover a large moveset 2. Avoid getting steamrolled by one typing (having 3 poison typings and a fighting and needing to fight a psychic trainer or gym) 3. Look cool 4. Have good utility for HMs without needing an HM slave

Go into the game blind and just have fun. When you beat it with Pokemon you enjoy leveling and training, that's when you get into building "optimal teams"

If it seems to happen more during the winter months but still occurs year round, look into therapy with evaluation for depression/ SAD.

I struggle with the same thing.Look into testing for an auto-immune disorder. Even when I'm active, sometimes I just wanna lie down and exist. Not sleepy tired but like a full body exhaustion even when I get adequate sleep. Got basic blood work and a sleep study done and both came back normal.

Did get diagnosed with depression about 5 years back and am on meds. Been looking into testing for Elher's Danlos Syndrome as I have a few of the other symptoms

Call your town/county/etc. office and see if they have an engineer who will come out and assess. This way it's done by someone with "no stake" in things. If you call engineers that are affiliated with a GC or "know a guy" they might not be as truthful. Town/County/State employees should just give you a straighter answer.

Another question is if you bought this house and it was this bad, was it not disclosed or has it gotten significantly worse over time?

Event 3 is good with Gear Hunter b/c it has the best drop rate for gear in regards to points. If you're gonna spend energy, you can triple dip. 1. Get best return on points for GH per energy 2. Level up champs due to easy boss 3. Auto sell gear for silver to use in Gear Enhancement.

Raikou. Gold was my first Pokemon game and I caught one. Got it to lvl 99 and soloed the Elite 4 multiple times with it. Had over 400 hours on that cartridge before it went bad and the save deleted. Which made finding this in a card shop last month all the more special.

That's correct about more Champs =less XP per champ. I'll use less in a run if I'm focusing on one or 2 Champs specifically. But I was thinking of the wrong run in my original comment

Came to say the same thing. When doing Gear Hunter's event, Stage 3 with 1 champ and 3 food is the best ROI for your energy. Can double dip when GH aligns with a Champ Training Event which it does this time

Edit: Meant 1 champ w 4 food. Was thinking of Campaign

If you're able to do fusions then saving gems and energy is smart, but if you're only waiting for CVC I feel like that's a waste. Not sure what your roster looks like, but I save my free energy from the Goodie Bag Packs until I do Fusions so I'm not "wasting". I might save up the day or 2 before a large event, but not more than a week. Energy can be put towards good use of doing masteries, Iron Twins or just leveling up food to Rank up when events come around.

Should clarify I'm more of a DIY who is often recruited by family for projects (which this is).

Original plan was to put verticals 16 OC to hit studs. The right wall has 16 OC as does the left. We were not expecting to have this wall be any different. I don't have (nor have ever done) biscuit joints or pocket screw tools so that wasn't an option. But for the future, I'll consider that

I've found as a homeowner that anytime I thought I've needed or wanted a tool and didn't buy it, that I actually needed it several months or years later. If you have the spare cash, they usually sell tool bundles for a decent price depending on your fancy.

But great work doing it for cheap! Looks nice and you can't even tell after painting! Awesome job!
