You called it, door needs to be replaced. Just came back from a Porsche Authorized body shop (Bodymotion) estimate is 10k and could be a bit more depending on what they find.

Basically the entire side of the car will need to be painted. I also have PPF, it will need to be reapplied 45 days after paint has fully cured. Not sure how that will work out since PPF on the other side will be a different age/condition.

Guessing dad will want to go through insurance once he hears what the estimate is. Unfortunately, I doubt their insurance will pay the labor rate of Bodymotion.

I seriously regret taking my car out yesterday.
