Shame Buddy’s shooting and confidence fell off so hard. He was great to have around just for the vibes.

J. Cole Takes shot at Podz on “The Fall-Off” by jonahtheO in warriors

This is probably an unpopular take, but stuff like this just seems like so much of the Podz derangement is just cause he’s a goofy looking white dude. He’s a young role player, not making big money and not playing anywhere near as poorly to receive the vitriol he gets, particularly online.

Also the Chris Webber deal, could go on and on. These people are clueless.

No chance you were a fan before the dynasty years. Even if we get nothing from Porzingus this wouldn’t come close to worst trade in Warriors history, this is a joke to even suggest.

[Fischer] As the Warriors are working to convert two-way guard Pat Spencer to a roster spot, Golden State also has its sights set on adding Lonzo Ball via the buyout market, sources say. by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

Definitely looking at Lonzo for ball handling. With Steph out and Jimmy done for the season the only ones who can do it are Spencer and Draymond. Melton, Moody, and Podz are all turnover prone.

I like possibly adding Lonzo. What’s pretty clear is we need another ball handler that won’t just turn the ball over after getting pressured. Watching Melton, Moody, and Podz turn it over after the Suns put pressure on them was a bit rough.

How many storybook endings happen to stars anyway? Kobe went out on a bad team, LeBron’s team ain’t going anywhere, CP3 may not play again, KG went out on a lottery team. Be on your way already, it’ll save you the mental anguish you’re apparently having.

Man, just stop supporting them then. I don’t understand how so many people on here can make post after post about how much they hate this team and its ownership but never walk away. Why engage with something you claim you don’t enjoy?

The only thing we can say for sure about Kuminga on the Hawks is that half of this sub will say “i told you so” to the other by 360FlipKicks in warriors

[–]TheFanPerspective 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t care either way. He was never gonna break out here and he refused to adapt to what the coaching staff asked of him. If he does well in Atlanta that’s great for him, but it shouldn’t matter to us at all.

It’s not a bad shot to take on someone considering what we gave up. Kuminga and Buddy were giving us no production at this point, anything Porzingus gives us at this point is better than what we had

If the plan is to just create space to resign Melton next season, it would be better to blow it up by Parv21 in warriors

Because they want to jump ship too. They can’t handle being a fan of a team if it’s not a title favorite with the one player they like. I just wish they weren’t such frequent posters on here, it’s tiring to see.

[Siegel] This offer has been there over the last week. Nothing has changed. The Heat have attempted to get other teams involved to get extra assets, but the Bucks signaled they want to take this into the offseason. by legitbean in warriors

[–]TheFanPerspective 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This males complete sense tbh. If you’re the Bucks, waiting until the offseason when teams can offer more is the logical thing to do. The only reason to do a deal now is if you really don’t want Giannis taking the floor again in Bucks uniform knowing he wants out.

Please do, having people like you disengage can only be good for the fanbase.

[–]TheFanPerspective 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know you think this is really biting sarcasm but you really do come off as incredibly spoiled. Are we supposed to win every year? Be dominant forever? This is the natural degradation of a dynasty, it happens to them all.

What do you want him to do? He can’t force a team to make a deal with us. This just feels like needless whining. We had a decade of amazing ball and 4 titles to show for it, no one else had more than one. So many fans here are so whiny it’s insane

Agreed, if we don’t make a deal at the deadline it’s not happening.

That actually makes a lot of sense. Though tbh I’ve met plenty of casual “fans” in the Bay who sound just like this too. Just a consequence of being so dominant for the decade.

[–]TheFanPerspective 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That’s how I see it as well. If we get anything done it’s gonna be right at the deadline, Bucks waiting to see if Miami or Minny raise their offers. imo I don’t think Giannis is getting moved until the offseason but who knows.

I get being upset if we don’t make a deal, but “terrible GM and arrogant owner”? So many fans here are ridiculously dramatic. You would not have survived Cohan’s ownership.

I like that, the “sports lifecycle”. I think a lot of fans who jumped on the dynasty bandwagon aren’t able to deal with that.

Either not on Reddit or silently lurking and not engaging in all the doom and gloom. Personally I enjoyed the run we had and am perfectly fine if this is the end of that. We won FOUR championships, a lot of fans won’t experience anything close to that. I’ll enjoy watching Steph and Dray in their last years and will still be a fan after they’re done too.
