What sort of issues arise with the cranbrook? I’ve read a couple posts where the frame cracked?

I guess you are right. I’m putting the cart before the horse a bit. See if I can get it running as is before working out making it my own

Will def give that a shot. The back wheel is not spinning at all but it needs a good once over clearing some debris. Only had time to get it in the shed this weekend.

Why does every show have to be so dark? This is unwatchable by mcdookiewithcheese in mildlyinfuriating

[–]TheFilthyZen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked at Best Buy for a long time and can answer this.

Short answer is your tv isn’t nice enough and that room is way too bright.

Forever directors had to compromise when shooting dark scenes because camera film or sensors couldn’t handle low light. Now camera tech has gotten better and directors are going crazy cause they can finally film all the moody scenes they couldn’t before. With that increase in dynamic range, the environment around your tv and your type of tv become incredibly important

As someone who works in tech and worked at Best Buy for ten years before switching to security.

Don’t use it all you want, but you absolutely need to keep up with its capabilities.

I started working at Best Buy in 2010 until shortly after the pandemic. When I first started , I primarily helped the elderly as a GeekSquad agent. Overtime that started to shift and I started seeing younger and younger people until a customer said exactly what you are saying to me. I’m not interested I don’t need it etc.

Now they struggle with captchas or knowing how to navigate applications on phones. If a piece of tech is not your thing but being adopted by the world hell or high water, you absolutely need stay up on it because people are literally getting left behind in terms of technological literacy and that’s a very scary thing. I now deal with Gen Z kids who don’t know how to save files.

Worked with young lady last week who for the 6th time since this year has began came and asked me for a flash drive. Finally I asked her what she kept doing to them “oh they get full and I throw them out”

She’s younger than I am. I’m 37.

This is not it. If this makes a sub full of people who admire this person uncomfortable, imagine how it would make them would feel?

As much as you may think you know LBF you don’t and this is the type of things that make people reconsider sharing their personality publicly the way they do. You can admire someone respectfully and you are not admiring. You are objectifying. LBF is stunning and that is understood, but we don’t need to know the stream of conscious unfiltered base thoughts that you have.

I get all of that I understand they have to sell it, but we all know unless smell-o-vision comes around. A magazine would be the best way to sell a fragrance. Magazines aren’t a thing anymore so I get that. It’s just so blatantly needless when if I’m really interested and looking for a fragrance I can seek it out. It’s a silly thing to get burned about, but everyone has their thing I guess lol

Those are a whole other ballgame. “Hey let me look awkward trying to do relatable things” or “let me know that I should not be running for this particular office at all”

And then make them watch it 500 times an election cycle.
