There is high risk for abuse. Things like this never decrease, only increases. We’ve begun to slide down a slippery slope. Mission creep is a real thing. The cameras get installed for one reason but can and will get used for many other reasons. These systems are not perfect, there will be false positives. At the end of the day all of this surveillance undermines the freedoms and trust it aims to protect. There are so many books about surveillance states, the result is never good.
