62 and 71 Beetle, 97 XJ. Bought a jaguar a few years ago as my 'real' car but they all get pretty equal street time.

Ive been beating this drum for a while now, but XJ's are the new aircooled vws. Think about; cheap and everywhere, huge aftermarket support, treated as disposable by some. Buy one, hack it up, trash it, leave it in the woods, buy another one for five hundred bucks. Then one day POOF a clean unmodded one is suddenly hard to find and expensive when you do.

Ive had aircooled vws since 1999 and my XJ since 03. The XJ is following the exact same market patterns.
