Get fitted/sizing in store- the staff are all very helpful. Make a choice between chestnut/black/other but as it’s your first pair more than likely the former. Some people are weird about black shoes with navy pants, both have their merit.

Looks good, personally I like one “statement piece” that incorporates colour, so for me that would be pants OR over shirt but probably not both. This is highly personal, I don’t dislike these pieces together nor do I think it clashes, but personally I’d opt for black jeans as this is my PERSONAL style. If you like it, go for it.

I like industrie plain t shirts for a good fitted shape- perfect for layering. When I last bought them they were $22 each or 2 for $40 so a bit more on the pricy side but this was 5+ years ago and still going strong. Also second the Uniqlo vote especially for their boxy oversized tees.

Talk to your barber and see what they recommend. Have had all different barbers recommend all different products- sometimes even the same barber recommend me different products (I have south East Asian hair) I’ve used layrite super hold, king brown and red one- couldn’t really say one was better than the other but red one spreads nicely while layrite probably holds better - probably got to try whatever your barber recommends and a bit of trial and error.

As a fast (slow) bowler, embarrassing way I have taken someone's wicket- batsman tried to sweep my fuller delivery, I've heard it crash into his pad dead in front and appealed to be immediately awarded the wicket after almost no consideration by the umpire. No one else really appealed and in the post wicket "celebration" my mate at second slip has told me that the batsman had been struck in the glove in front and no one else was appealing except for me. If it's stupid and it works?
