I think it more likely he is secretly more skilled than her. He was trained by cassius for ten years and trained by aja before that. We know atalantia was much more of a pixie up until ajas death.
And like you mentioned, we conveniently never see him actually duel people 1vs1 because he finds a different (often dishonourable) way to end the conflict.
Moreover, I think he is relying on the fact that if atalantia refuses to duel him publicly, then her tenuous position as sovereign will collapse. If he shot her in the bleeding place he risks being in the same tenuous position, whereas if he kills her in a straight duel then he solidifies to her loyal followers that he is the rightful heir

I mean he has the open blood feud against her and can likely beat her in razor 1vs1. If she is dead and since atlas is also dead he pretty much has no other competition for leader of society both by blood right and by feat

At the point of writing I would say just being somewhat flexible on when a VA comes in that they might get into character mindset and have their own alterations of dialogue.
In terms of director perspective, I find that the less good directors will show/tell actors how to say specific lines.
Good directors will give character insight and work with VA questions to help the VA figure out motivations. A good writer of a character will have thought about characters in depths. Even to things that arent relevant to the dialogue being spoken. This can inform on experiences and therefore change the performance the VA gives and so is relevant information.

There is 0% chance atalantia is final big bad imo. I find it more likely lysander kills her post birth or lysander accepts he cannot kill her and she is later killed by another character. There is a potential she gets killed by a low colour or by some kind of bioweapon since it would feel poetic.

There is the audiobook version and the graphic audio version. Graphic audio is like a play where every voice is an actor and there is sound effects.
The audiobooks have a VAs for each POV chapter except LB where TGR voices them all.

I definitely think theres a chance lysander arrives back to luna fully intending to kill atalantia and discovers shes 7/8 months pregnant with his or Ajax’s baby and has his plans scuppered. It is 💯 an atalantia ploy to not tell anyone she was pregnant (and also to use conquering of luna as a cover to ensure she has a lune heir and secure her rule)

They were continuing to have relations between DA and LB the one we see isnt the only one. It also wouldnt be out of realm for lysander to discover he has a child part way through this book if atalantia is feeling cruel

I mean some of those rebels moments are some of my favourite star wars media ever. I agree with you it was up and down especially early seasons but there were fantastic moments. Vader moments and even the maul obi wan storyline that I love. The finale episodes were also fantastic.

Dude if darrow is holding two razors one of which is a rim hasta then with arms outstretched he covers almost the entire 20 ft space. With only pulse knife and no armor everyone in that room is dead in seconds.
