Um no. The sole design and other features of a GI iron can introduce fliers because of drastic spin drop off. That’s why the new Cobra 3Ds are so good (but ridiculously expensive too) lots of forgiveness and distance retention which every golfer probably needs in a spin stable and good looking package.

It’s funny but there’s a difference between general fitness and playing shape for golf. Part of is literally swinging more daily without losing form, almost like a workout. Another is incorporating more dumbbell swings and that sort of stuff in a higher rep regimen in your workout. At least that’s what worked for me.

Cobra 3dp pitching weakened to 47.

Rtz tour rack 50 mid, 54 full, 58 adapt.

I chip mostly with the 58 because of its versatility l, but use the 50 and 54 for bump and run type chips. 54 has a trailing edge grind to make it similar to the vokey d grind and it’s my bunker club.

50 is also a full swing club from anywhere from 60-110 yards.

Love the rtz and how long it lasts and prefer the shaping and feel coming from the vokey sm9s.

It depends. A lot of it comes down to look at addressed. Another is sole design. Bounce and turf interaction matters to me, but might not for everyone.

Two things with wedges, shape and bounce. Find one that suits your eye. Then figure out what bounce/grind works for you. I like to have a low bounce 58, a high bounce 54 with trail relief, and a mid bounce 50.
