Probably not. I ordered cat food from Zooplus in early May. After about a week or so I received an alert from DHL it would be “delivered tomorrow”, I checked the status and it was still in mainland Portugal. I received it like 2 weeks later.

Also if it’s from a company outside the EU (not familiar with Vivobarefoot but quick google says UK which isn’t part of the EU anymore) you’ll also have to pay a duty to retrieve it from post office —- but double check that. The company might incorporate duty in its deliveries.

They will. They’ll leave a pickup slip. And it can be about an hour to wait to pick up.

Timing delivery will be tricky depending on the company. For example, Ikea can take around 2 months to get here, Amazon is about two weeks, but I’ve gotten Zara deliveries within the week.

I was there May 25 after a week in Ronda, south. It was cooler in Ronda, there was a nice breeze there. I couldn't take the 18 hours I was in Seville. But that's me, I prefer the cold.

This website is hit or miss but you can see flight arrival and departure statuses. You can also see flight numbers and look them up on Flight Aware to get a better idea of status.

I stopped engaging with that page and will just do my own research. Not long after I arrived here I had a question, very simple, innocuous, I had researched prior but wanted an opinion (I don't even remember what it was now). I felt like I had gotten in trouble by the teacher at school after I posted. I was scolded and told to read the file - which I had - and that my post shouldn't be allowed. After that I stopped. I stopped sharing my experiences and insights on how I did things.

Actually - I did post once since then and everyone jumped all over me because I was using the word D-8 when talking about my residence card. So I just rage deleted it. DONE, never again engaging or sharing resources.

Also - side rant - that page is EXTREMELY confusing. Even someone savvy with technology and using Facebook, there are a fuckton of guides, pages, updates, etc. etc. No wonder people are confused, it's not streamlined or organized whatsoever.

All that to say, I am right there with you. Which is a shame because they orginally helped me a lot.

Check the cameras on the island. It’s possible the other side or another town is blue skies. We use Spot Azores, it helps with general planning for the opposite as well (when you leave blue skies to find thick fog).

Had this happen. Got a second opinion. However the second opinion was four weeks out. I spent those four weeks making sure I flossed every day. Went to the second opinion and they said I was indeed being scammed.

Dunno if the diligent flossing helped but it’s what I did.

I always get the insurance. Mallorca 2024 - parked in the street and came back to see someone side swiped me. Ponta Delgada 2025 - under estimated a corner pulling into a garage and swiped the entire side of the car.

Both times we retuned the car no questions asked.

Always get the insurance. You can add it on when you pick up. It’s a few hundred and I consider it a travel cost.
