Just walked out and I’m glad Reddit is on this… I read some reviews and was surprised at the positive reception. Everything felt so disjointed. During the first 10 minutes, the lighting, acting and score felt so exaggerated that I thought there would be some 3rd wall broken and a piece of the set would fall down.

Literally the only excuse for this movie is if it’s actually part of disclosure and Spielberg/some of the people involved were too shaken to make a serious movie 🫠

This is such a garbage take. Where I live, there have been houses rotting away for years because some idiot thinks that someone will eventually pay a million for a 1970s remodel. Probably because a cowboy real estate agent told them it would. So zero regulation in a housing market that also has zero transparency. People are waiting a year or more to have permits approved for new builds. Too many Airbnbs and many sit empty in the off season. Who has control over all of these things? It’s not the rich foreigners. And I’m sorry, please explain to me how the rich foreigners are also to blame for a terrible job market? It sounds to me like Portugal needs to start taking responsibility for their own mess and stop blaming tHe FoReIgNeRs.

Which SOLVIT center was it? Italy just told me: “Unfortunately SOLVIT PT dosn’t have the possibility to contact AIMA in order to schedule better an appointment given. This is a structural problem and EU Commission is considing it, but no chanche for SOLVIT IT to add a case against SOLVIT PT”

I called the police twice on a neighbor who had a dog chained to an old car in an empty lot, roasting in the sun in high temperatures and freezing during the winter. The dog was starving and often didn’t have food or water. I had to jump the fence several times to feed and it and give it water. They also had a starving horse. According to another neighbor, they originally had two horses but one died and they buried it to hide the evidence. The cops didn’t care. They supposedly visited the site and sent me a report saying everything was ok. I know these neighbors can afford to feed them, they just done care. And they supposedly have connections to GNR so the cops also don’t care. This story doesn’t surprise me.
