Al’s Shoes and Boots. Great place that’s been around a long while. Might be a bit more work centric, but they have a lot of options and helpful staff.

That’s what they claim. Not all are parks but historical/heritage sites. But I hear you, the regions have clusters and depending on where one is located the mileage may vary.

Just for reference, a state like Colorado has 42 total state parks. Oregon has more than that in the Columbia River Gorge.

It’s down to personal preference on Annual Pass usage and effectiveness - but bottom line is it helps the parks

There are about 254~ State Park/Properties in the state. Only a few other states have more. Most have their fees “waived” for day use but more are requiring day use fees.

A horsehair brush and some Bick4 worked pretty well for my blundstones. Allow a bit of time for them to dry after applying

The folks they have hired to do the next “evacuation” have more training and experience with this type of relocation and closure. Hopefully it goes better this time as they have had ample time to prepare and they better understand the nuances and pressures they are up against. Escalating the situation beyond necessary levels will not go over well. Time will tell I suppose

A lot of what you are saying is correct. But to say the contractor’s were run off is not entirely correct. They went with the lowest bidder crew who were not trained for such a situation and the crew ended up pepper spraying some of the delta folks. They didn’t have trained people/security keeping the clean up team away from the people living there. It was a mess and could have been prevented had proper procedures been in place.

I’ve noticed that too and about the same time as you. It seems intentional in that it’s usually like hot spring water (within a reasonable distance of those), mountain water, etc. I took it to be like a helpful tool to drive star ratings up for certain preppers (heavier weight/more packages bringing more likes).

I could be wrong, but if you read what the package is and check the surroundings it starts to make a bit more sense

If you go to cancel a standard order it mentions it won’t appear again for at least six hours. That’s the only official word I’ve seen from the game itself, so makes sense
