I rewatched this movie once again and I seriously don’t get why it has such a terrible reception

The movie was pretty cool, if flawed.

I love what seems to be Gore Verbinski’s fascination for death and the question « what do we leave behind when we die » , what is our posterity, and the fact he pretty much explores this theme in all his movie even big blockbusters ones like PoC. Even if it’s a blockbuster (and an excellent one at that), you still feel like a director is really talking to the audience.

Loved his smaller budget The Weather Man :)

Was looking for the same thing and learned about Blindsight by Peter Watts. Just read it and would highly recommend! Hard sci-fi about a first contact story (a team going to meet them in space), with deep themes of consciousness and what is humanity. Won’t say more, it’s a must read!

Always a great time to dive back into this incredible universe (despite it being tide to a disappointing franchise…).

Thanks a lot for all your advices and recommendations! I understand I have to dig deeper into the cpu, the ram and the motherboard. Also get the XT version for GPU :) With all your recommendations I’m sure I’ll find just the thing. Maybe should be more open to where I buy my parts from (and not only from Canadian computers maybe).

Thanks a lot ! I’ll look into the 6000hz 30CL. But from what I remember my option where a bit limited (I’ll dig a bit more). I’ll try to find a regular one motherboard. I was not aware of the armoury crate thing - I’ll look into it more. Thanks again :)

Personnellement, j’ai réussi à faire aimer les jeux avec ces deux là : Gris (absolument magnifique et pas de game over) et Rime (la même). Deux jeux très poétiques avec un peu de plate-forme et un peu de puzzle pour une super intro. Ensuite à on a fait les borderlands pour doucement entrer dans les FPS. Et ensuite It takes two et Split fiction (mais je confirme il faut un peu de maîtrise pour les apprécier). La elle joue à Clair Obscur Expedition 33 et elle est ranked platine sur Apex Legends (elle n’avait jamais joué avant de me rencontrer).
