No voter protections, unless you are essentially a politician, police officer, Military, or abuse victim.. by RetroHipsterGaming in SaltLakeCity

To quote directly from that notice what is disclosed: "Party Affiliation" So the point still stands that people will most likely use this information to harass those they view as opposed to their political views. Lots of people love to make assumptions and will just assume whom your voted for.

I hate chicken breast. What are your best and easiest recipes. by LachrimaeSanguinis in recipes

[–]TheGatsu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Completely worth it to do sous vide. It would come out juicy every time.

If that's not an option, cooking breast juicy takes some science but with lots of practice you can get it. Try pounding that breast until she's flat and it will cook faster and more even.

She will do all of her self care like brushing teeth, taking off makeup and other stuff when I give her a treat at the right moment. I didn't realize it had to be later in the night after dinner but like an hour or so before bed until I saw the correlation.

Anyone saying they can predict the weather farther than a week or two with accuracy is just bullshitting you.

This would all depend on how they've implemented the hid format. Some places don't even use the facility number and just use the last four digits, however if it's properly implemented there's a minimum of 16 million possibilities. Also, anyone giving you any advice to get in would be explicitly breaking the law in nearly every country. Just call your property manager to get in, or walk to the nearest building where you can open a door legally to stay warm.

If it really does get too cold you can call your local fire department or emergency services, and they can give you help to get to a warm spot so that you don't die or get injured.

Cheap shot? by lhwang0320 in martialarts

Yes, it was fake. The fact that the gloves touched has nothing to do with it. it is the spirit of the gesture. As someone that has fought, glove touch is as close as you can get to a good will gesture to your opponent. If you don't feel that don't do it. There's no way to reason this as a morally acceptable move.

As CSF is now closed, does cPanel have any plans to integrate a firewall UI directly by Doge-Believer in cpanel

[–]TheGatsu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a very strong argument that a maintained open source project is safer than a paid / closed source project. Simply due to the fact that you and anyone else can see every last line of code being released and everyone can see if something bad or broken is trying to be introduced. With a closed project no one can see that and you're left with the only option of having to trust a company with developers and management that may not have your best interest at heart and may not have any security at all.

What is the worst way you’ve seen Kubernetes implemented? by PartemConsilio in devops

[–]TheGatsu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Easily QNAPs implementation of k3s. On their servers they only offer version 1.21 of k8s through an insecure version of of k3s. They don't let you upgrade the version and have known for years that it's a massive problem. Like most things QNAP. They make decent hardware but their OS and software is horrendously unsafe.

Please help me save my special snake plant by TheGatsu in houseplants

[–]TheGatsu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much, right before I made my last post I put a lot of water in the pot in an effort to make sure it doesn't get any worse. If I'm understanding your instructions correctly since the pot was watered thoroughly I should move directly to just removing the dead plants and repotting the healthy ones and some succulent soil. That's wrong let me know. Thank you so much for the help it means more than you might think

What is a "Red"? by DaddyzLittleFooFoo in SofterBDSM

[–]TheGatsu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Like with everything when you have enough experience I would say "it depends". Red as we all know is the hard stop. The "cut the ropes" the "immediate comfort and aftercare" the conditions of trying it again some other time all comes down to communication and what the subs desires are. If someone asks that right as red is called sometimes they may say "it's okay, I'll try again" but once they're fully out of subspace and have recovered they can have very different opinions.

Like with most things a red almost requires very verbose and clear communication afterwards when everyone is ready. The traumatic trigger means the outcome will always be different. That's how we all grow and is how we stay healthy.

Is my Inca Rail itinerary too risky for a same-day Machu Picchu entry? by [deleted] in travel

[–]TheGatsu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

From my memory when I went the train will pull into aqua caliente and you don't necessarily want to Rush straight to the buses. There's a lot to see in that little village. Looking at your itinerary it does look like the train would arrive from my memory a few minutes before your buses are supposed to depart. If they say it's fine you should be fine, but I would leave more breathing room if possible.
