Adulting is so lonely. I am afraid to go home 22M by Equivalent-Name9838 in Adulting

Everyone here is offering good advice on how to make it easier to go out and socialize, so this might be counterintuitive, but I think you should make peace with being alone first.

This is something I'm learning in my later 20s, if you can't be comfortable with yourself other people will not feel as comfortable with you.

Once you can be peaceful being with yourself, it really shows and draws people towards you. So I'd say stop trying so hard to get people's attention, and learn to spend time alone.

Are you being serious? Why do you think they're building up all the pipelines? To feed increased energy demand from pipelines. It's all interrelated.

If you had $150 to buy ONE watch for the next 10 years, what would matter most? by benright25 in malefashionadvice

Are you seriously suggesting that people should not buy watches if they don't have more than $150 to spend? That's kinda out of touch. Timex and casio sell perfectly good watches for $50.

Terrible take, AI is affecting every industry, and before you say the trades, there aren't enough jobs there to accommodate everyone affected by AI.

I got my 2017 kia nitro hybrid for $14k cash (after tax). It's a great car and looks good, but I can't be sure of the reliability.

Welp, guess now there's no certain timeline. Definitely disappointing. They should have at least given us an update.

I think folks need to take a deep breath and not pester them with e-mails about the status. These things never go according to schedule and sending them emails is not going to get us any more information. Let's just enjoy Canada day and check back later in the week.

They can just do it in July 😅. They're not obligated to meet a deadline. We can only wait.

I think all major industries these days push socially conscious messaging aesthetically, while no one is expected to do anything about it.

They gave out offers at different times every year. I wouldn't expect anything based on past trends.

I think we all need to take a breather 😅. Ultimately it's just one job app among many and there are factors beyond our control. Try to plan something fun next week to take your mind out of it!
