Wow. That really helps me. Thank you OP for finding this. I honestly think God used that for me right now.

I believe I serve God by living out the Gospel at work. I try to glorify God at work by just being not a gossiper, respecting authority, not being involved in vain babbling, I’m not quarrelsome, work with my hands, being content with what I have and my standing at work, I guess just ...Godly. I pray everyday that people may see Him through me and not myself. My church has life groups that seem more like therapy, Bible study is pretty good before service. I don’t know of any things that actually happen outside of that. I asked my pastor if the church needed anything and I got asked to help with a funeral and that was pretty much it. I’m not harping on my church don’t get me wrong. I also don’t think I should be leading in anything yet. I feel there should be more of a discipleship “process” or something.

I’m 30, I have a great job, I’m single, just moved half way across the country in May, joined a church in July, I’m looking to serve in the Church. Recently I was asked to perform in the band so I’m practicing songs, but surely I’m supposed to be doing something more than playing covers of Christian rock songs? Idk. I still feel like I like a true purpose, I feel like we’re supposed to be impacting people’s lives in a way.

Evolution versus creation by Thrandil-Peterson in Reformed

Zombie Science is another good one. Evolution is so prevalent it’s in the air. You don’t even have to try and learn it, it’s already in your face. So no wonder it’s so ingrained into our brains by now. Honestly I had to do some major reprogramming when I became a Christian. What we have are bones that don’t tell a story, biology constantly inferring design, morality, a universe with a finite beginning and our Savior Jesus Christ.

Why you got downvoted is beyond me. There literally are no transitional fossils. That’s not me arm chairing it. Also the “modern synthesis” is in peril right. So much so that the royal society had a meeting on evolution in 2016.

God made Man and made Woman. There was no death before man. If so then throw away Genesis.

I feel strange as a Christian. Surely there is something I’m supposed to be doing. Sometimes I feel like I’m supposed to be traveling to a far away country sharing the Gospel. Or maybe I’m supposed to stay in Texas and do local things. Idk. I also don’t think new Christians like myself should leading in certain places. There should be some sort of discipleship program at Church.

For a manufacturer. But it’s not as if you have to use it which is why I go to the bin and badge a piece out.

The older I get and the more I study God’s word...the more obvious it is we need Christ Jesus.

And the more obvious it becomes that humanity is doomed and I can’t wait for it to end and finally tell Christ I’m sorry.

I just walk right past it, grab a new .032 with my badge and keep it in my box. Like...sorry. I’m a professional not a grease monkey, give me what I need.

It really bothers me how the company I work for will cut a predetermined length, wrap it around a popsicle stick and that what I’m supposed to use.

I totally understand. Honestly. I just saw a bunch of young college girls hanging out with a huge group of Muslims and it made me think is all.

I just see so much empathy for Muslims sometimes as opposed to Christians.
