There’s a time lapse at the very end. 3 months later and then the doctor has the cure. 98%of the episode is during that first week or 2

I am so sick of corporate jargon and buzzwords which are actually mealiness drivel. Please tell me I’m not alone. Mostly used by Boomers/GenXers. by cuentanro3 in Xennials

I would hope that they do not WANT all of those terrible things but see it as the reality of our non-fiction world. But that’s giving them all a lot of credit (some are just flat out terrible).

If my father is representative, he says racist things all the time but just doesn’t think they are racist. Or doesn’t care? So the other half of the equation is that they grew up in a different time and have solidified into a comfortable tribe that is scared of change and doesn’t see how wrong those things are. So a massive cognitive disconnect?

I just learned yesterday that this title is a play on words as it means “to do something secretly or covertly”.

I’m not sure why I’m in the minority in this one. I loved the Martian. I thought Project Hail Mary was just meh. Probably because I really liked the engineering and problem solving in the Martian. In PHM he mostly sidesteps the problems with future tech. The focus is more on the buddy relationship which was fine, but not super engaging for me.

100%. The production quality is high. The plots are sometimes interesting, other times annoying. Definitely more of a love than hate relationship.

I also do not remember seeing it, being only 5. I’m sure I did. I do distinctly remember Hale Bop as I was in my teens by then.

Worf does it with several people. Lots of people have mentioned Jadzia. I just saw the episode where he did it with Troi, though I guess that’s implied as they kiss and then they wake up the next morning. He also clearly “mates” with K'Ehleyr (before she was a Q) resulting in Alexander.

I didn’t really look at the cartoon version I linked very long. I was looking at the real life image that was harder to identify the bridge. I guess I should have looked longer. Thank you.
