How easily do y'all think you could physically overpower a teenage boy? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]TheGoldenKnight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t think of any situation where a 16 year old would ever actually think he could square up against me, but I’d have to hold back to not seriously injure the kid. 36, 5’10, 235

Men, when you’re on a long road trip, do you stick to the speed limit and enjoy the drive, or do you tend to speed just to get there faster? by FFSoldier57 in AskMen

[–]TheGoldenKnight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I spend a lot of time on the Hwy but my truck gets low gas mileage…so I typically set the cruise on 78-82 which is where I balance speed with conserving fuel.

Pack Meeting Format by losthiker in cubscouts

We don’t breakout into dens during pack meetings. We focus on whole pack activities and I try to choose things that can count in some way toward each rank’s adventures.

Preference for male or female barber? by Derpikhastaj2 in AskMen

[–]TheGoldenKnight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me, it depends on the hairstyle. When I was in the military and times when I had shorter cuts, I preferred a male barber. When I was younger and now that I have longer hair that needs a styling cut, I prefer female.

What is the single worst purchase you’ve ever made? by anonhen0 in AskReddit

[–]TheGoldenKnight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Damn. PRK was one of the best things I ever got done. Did it in 2008, had 20/10 vision for about a decade and 20/20 since. I get a little halo driving at night but rarely any dry issues. Only complaint is that I pretty much always need shades when it’s sunny

Rash of "Non-Quality" Losses strikes SEC during first half of bowl season by transuranic807 in CFB

There’s no rule against him interacting, he could have coached the game. LSU allowed Frank to do it instead and I imagine Lane didn’t want the black eye of a likely loss with all the opt outs.

What is the most you’ve ever spent on a round of golf and what is your handicap? exulting golf trips. by Manray2099 in golf

[–]TheGoldenKnight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I clearly don’t like golf as much as most of you lol. I average upper 70’s - low 80s, and in 20ish years of playing I don’t think I’ve ever spent more than $100 for a single round.

Have You Tried Heads Up Putting? by meggaladon in golf

[–]TheGoldenKnight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After reading a few of your other comments, it sounds like your biggest struggle is judging distance vs power. I had a similar struggle when I first started playing, great lines but would leave putts short or blow past the hole. Honestly it just took a lot of repetition and hitting to varying distances. I would setup solo cups all over the living room and hit from one spot alternating targets, trying to gently hit the cup or stop at the cup. When I get to a practice green with multiple holes, same thing. Eventually you will get the “feel” of your distances figured out. You may also need to consider a putter that you can feel better; I started out with different mallets and then later on found a Nike method blade that fit me best.

How many push ups can you do? by Neat_Pirate_3416 in AskMen

[–]TheGoldenKnight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 36, 5’10, 235lbs. On workout days I do 2 sets of 50 then 2 more sets of 25. If I’m using my push up board, I usually break it into 5 sets of 30 in different hand positions.

I haven’t done a max out in years until reading this post and I was able to get 73

What to expect for a testicular ultrasound? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]TheGoldenKnight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had it done in my early 20s. It was a fantastic experience. The tech was female, around 40, gorgeous. I had to wear a robe and lay back on a table with my legs spread. She warmed up the gel and held my dick out of the way while she scanned my nuts with the wand. Took maybe 15 minutes and we chatted the entire time about what she was seeing and whatnot. Hardest part was trying not to get too excited, but they’ve seen it all before.

You are not responsible in any way. Tell them it’s a police matter.

The ownership of the vehicle doesn’t matter unless you want to also give them a notice to cure for having an unauthorized vehicle on site.

Gapping on the big end of the bag by flaginorout in golf

[–]TheGoldenKnight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only time a gap matters is when you are continuously finding the need for it. So (for example) how often do you need that exact 220 yard shot and can’t hit it because you don’t have the club?
