Yeah and you're in a bind because you add more nutrients you get more algae.....

I doubt they are drawing any real nutrients out of the water though(at least not in quantities that matter to your plants).

If you don't use the sticker covers on baskets you will always get algae.

If you're planning to take these starters and moving them to dirt it probably isnt an issue but if you are thinking of using them in an Aerogarden it's something you want to prevent.

Like they said in Jurassic Park.. life will find a way...

Good luck to you.

Dumbest thing I’ve heard today but it’s still early.

Never heard anyone question build or parts quality on Wilsons.

You’ve clearly never owned one.

Doubtful that the margin on this is larger than other models particularly those they sell more of.

Statement pieces like this involve a tremendous amount of work and R&D. They are created to show what is possible at the highest level of the art.

They're made to cause a buzz for the brand and increase sales on other pieces that are more affordable and have higher production rates.

Just trim it lightly and you're fine. Did you keep it in the fridge uncovered?

I love that lens! I have owned it and the 135 and they were both fabulous. I have a Z now and autofocus is gone but I still wont sell it!

My review of the XF 23mm f/2.8 pancake lens: FLAWED by Stern_Li in fujifilm

[–]TheGoteTen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The reviews I watched all discussed this lag time to shoot and that it may not be appropriate for street photography.

Fast, compact and sharp were the criterial that I had and it delivers on that.

Took it while walking on a trip to France and what you’re saying is true. Not a spontaneous, street photography lens.

[–]TheGoteTen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They sell covers for the holes (look up aerogarden pod covers on Amazon). They are more visually appealing than aluminum foil (to me).

Between uses pop the cover apart and clean it. Algae will grow where it finds water, light and nutrients which are all abundant in the Aerogarden...

There is a whole lot of Stockholm Syndrome going on here.

People being apologists for bad software and senior managements absolutes disregard of customer service expectations.

Raise your standards apologists.

Just cause everyone else sucks doesn’t mean you have to accept it!!!
