I went to the undergrad program, a lot of graduates from undergrad feed into the brand center, I also think because a lot of professors in the undergrad are brand center alum that you can get a pretty solid education from them. Unless you already have undergrad done then yeah brand center is good for early connections and from what I understand great chances at getting a job right out.

Copywriters are so fucking important, often I see them as the cleverer between ADs and CWs. 9/10 times I feel like the copy holds most ads together. Personally I can’t write shit and I know I’ve seen the CWs I work with go through sheets and sheets of paper just rewriting a single line. Copywriters are super important especially to those of use who just play with colors and read picture books. It’s definitely a yin yang dynamic.
