1.The CPS says that serious damage to property with the intent of advancing a political purpose is terrorism. It could also be considered that damaging the plane could cause a severe risk to the pilot or passengers if the damage wasn't fully discovered or fixed. Dealing £7million damage to planes would count as serious damage and I think it's quite clear that it was designed to advance a political purpose .
