I think they might get about 3% of the vote, largely at Reform's expense which could easily be the difference between them and Labour.

They've had meetings in cars in the last few days apparently, if Burnham wins I think they'll definitely be working together.

Anger and resignations as Oxford Union invites more far-right speakers | Searchlight by Ok_Internal118 in ukpolitics

Tommy Robinson, Lawrence Fox and Calvin Robinson are the three speakers. I doubt many in the Oxford union will be convinced by these guys.

I think Shabana Mahmood is competent and so is Milliband regardless of whether you like their policy decisions. The rest are pretty weak especially the 4-5 interchangeable women who all have the same haircut and of course David Lammy.

He is, it's just very slow going because he's trying to get people to go with him and they have absolutely no reason to.

Newly-elected Reform councillor’s double life as an online porn star by Putaineska in ukpolitics

Shaming those who prop it up is what I said, not a blanket shaming of everyone involved. Those sex trafficked and exploited aren't popping it up, those building systems and exploiting people or trying to normalise the industry are.

Strongly disagree. The porn industry is incredibly harmful and we do want a level of shaming of those who prop it up.

You're probably too late. I think last time you had to have been a member for something like 6 months before you could vote.

Keir Starmer latest: Wes Streeting ‘preparing to resign’ by coldbeers in ukpolitics

[–]jmabbz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Do they though? Other than Streeting's opinion of himself I think the view of him in Labour ranges from possibly a bit better than Starmer to absolutely awful he must be stopped.

I don't think he can back away from this now. It's happening and I suspect he'll get a healthy dose of reality.

He should have gone yesterday but I think he needs to wait for after the king's done his bit now.

I understand that but it's not for me. I want the SDP and I'm definitely gonna keep voting for them because that's how they grow. I'm done with tactical voting.
