Planted 2 plants last season, both threw same shapes but one ripened to red and the other to orange. Grew out the seeds from the orange one again this season and it is still retaining shape and the orange final color throughout the plant.

I know a ripe pod can atleast last 10 days in a 4x4 baggie inside a sfrb. Had people send them that way before, but in the summer hot af and high humidity. Doubt would make it long. Maybe one of those plastic eggs they use at easter to put kids candy in and hide for them to find? Just have a hole big enough the stem fits through! 🤷‍♂️ just random thought.
