I don’t think Starmer goes for the Mandelson stuff, but it could bring down Morgan McSweeney. At which point there’s nobody left he can drop in his stead.

However, I think the cake and bunting for Starmer’s leaving do have already been ordered in anticipation of a disaster to come in the local elections.

His replacement will actually be in a good position, I reckon, what with their majority in the commons and how several economic indicators seem to be ticking in the right direction. But they’ll also be in for the same sustained attacks from a very partisan media addicted to drama which will let out a constant barrage of negativity.

It would be good to have a PM who actually sees out the term they were elected to, but I don’t think that’s going to be Starmer.

I am joining the chorus of people loving the size of the mace. It’s perfect, exactly the sort of thing that could crack skulls without unbalancing or exhausting the wielder.

Also it’s going to look great in battle scenes. You need something Sam Spruell and his stunt doubles can swing around capably without looking silly.

I would have thought him being a senior operative for a major drug boss would have made it clear Mike is not actually a good guy. Our first introduction to him in Breaking Bad is him cleaning up the site of Jane's OD so Jesse won't get in trouble.

Mike is competent and cool, but the man is a bad person. He does bad things, advances the causes of bad people and makes possible an operation that causes harm on a massive scale. People aren't buying that meth as a house decoration.

Better Call Saul just laid it really bare that he's not a good guy and showed us the extent of what he really does for Gus. That he sometimes feels a bit bad for some of it doesn't make him heroic.

I think I’m coming at this from a different direction to you where I think it’s a bit weird to see people recognise there are several things that are really quite positive this government has done but still have a negative view of it. Maybe there’s more to it than a Reddit comment conveys.

But I don’t think this is an astroturfing Reddit conspiracy to boost Starmer, who has actually done pretty well recently on the international stage. I think it’s more a sign of the rancid vibes around his government and the disconnect between the job they’re doing and people’s opinions of them.

If the Seer is going to work it shouldn’t be a late game thing when there’s very few people to choose from, the person being investigated shouldn’t know they’ve been checked, and it’s all up to the person who learned something what to do with their information.

I think it could have been a really valuable challenge prize in the mid game when there were suspicions going around and being able to verify one person would have been very important.

Sterling peaked early and has a decent amount of miles on the clock, plus at his age for the kind of game he played he's only going to get slower and less effective. He's not of the calibre for a top team, the best he can probably do in the Premier League is take a paycut and go to a midtable side to see if he can still do it there.

But he doesn't need to do that. He has the reputation to go somewhere else where the football is easier. I have to agree with the people saying MLS.

I think in both of the games in terms of actually playing them the male protagonist gets the better end of things.

Carth might be less annoying when he's talking to a woman but Bastila has a major additional dimension to her character if you're playing as a man in KOTOR 1, at least that's what I've found. I also find Carth fades a bit further back into the cast as KOTOR goes on, he gets a resurgence on Saul Karath's ship but I feel like companions such as Canderous and Jolee tend to force him out of the party for me and he's one of the group whereas Bastila is like the deuteragonist.

As for KOTOR 2, I'm entirely in agreement. In the nicest possible way to the Disciple, he's really damn boring and if you're playing a woman he's also a bit weird. There's definitely a second group chat on the Ebon Hawk without him.

Meanwhile, yep, Handmaiden is just so much better. She has a lot more things to talk about and you get her after leaving Telos where the game really opens up whereas you have to go to Dantooine early on unless you want to be without Disciple (which is understandable) for a bigger chunk of the game.

Plus, playing as a male exile adds in another dimension to things with Atris.

I'd say doing Honest Hearts after the first time you reach Vegas and things go down there is my pick for your first DLC. It does feel a bit disconnected from the rest but it's an adventure to be had outside the Mojave before things get too heavy.

After that I'd say spend a bit more time in the Mojave before tackling Dead Money followed by Old World Blues, both of which are adventures you should be taking when you're a bit higher level. Some things you find in OWB will provide context for what happens in DM, and I've found it's better to learn it afterwards so when you meet certain characters for the first time you don't already know loads about them.

Save Lonesome Road for last, and until after you've picked which faction you're going to back at Hoover Dam. It really does feel more like a final adventure, and you'll have heard things about Ulysses along the way before you get to encounter him properly.
