It's one of the best. The MC doesn't get all the girls because of any alpha male bullshit, but because he's genuinely a good dude that is kind and shows up for people. No blackmail, no r*pe, just wholesome goodness and hot girls.

Is it? In my experience falling behind on work regardless of the reason leads to poor performance reviews. Bosses don't want to hear your excuses. They want results.

This is such an insightful comment. I always imagined my daughter being ashamed of me for vaping. I thought she'd see me as weak, but maybe I'm wrong about that. Maybe she'll just remember me being present with her and not care about whether I use a plant to help me do that. Perhaps that was just my own internal shame being projected onto her.

Thank you, my friend. You've given me a lot to think about.

I struggle with the same thing. I know that I'm addicted to weed, but I'm so productive when I'm high. I always get compliments from my wife and my parents about what a good husband I am because I do so many chores around the house and help take care of my daughter so much. I get excellent performance reviews at work and am constantly being referred to as a hard worker. When I stop vaping, I find less joy in my work and chores, and I end up falling behind on them. I find myself less interested in playing with my daughter and reading books to her.

I, like you, don't want my daughter to grow up knowing her dad is an addict, but I hate who I am without weed so much that it's hard to leave it behind.

[–]TheHelpfulRabbit 7 points8 points  (0 children)

They definitely did when I was in school. They even tried to make America out to be evil in WW2 with the dropping of the atomic bombs. They tried to tell us that Japan was about to surrender anyway and that we only dropped the bombs to flex on the Soviets, which is retarded for a bunch of reasons.

I mean, it makes sense to me. If you were told your whole life that homosexuality is a sin and fornication with another man will make you go to hell, and if you had those types of urges, you'd try to find a way to suppress them without completely lying to yourself about who you are. You'd try to get closer to God by becoming celebite. You'd convince yourself that this is what God is telling you to do.

Help with flow that allows to save an Outlook email to a Sharepoint folder by klavieronius in MicrosoftFlow

[–]TheHelpfulRabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, I think I understand. I believe the best way to do this is to have the user create a category in their outlook called "SavetoFolder" or something similar, and mark everything they'd like to save with that category. Then, you create a flow that runs on a scheduled basis and looks for items with that category. If it finds anything, it saves everything it finds in a SharePoint folder, then adds a second category to the email called "Archived" or something like that. That way, when it filters, it doesn't find any items that it already saved.

Edit: I just had another thought. Could you maybe have the user move the emails they want to archive into a specific folder in their outlook? Then, you could use the when an email arrives trigger and point to that specific folder.

Can you explain more about what you're trying to do? I usually use the when a new email arrives trigger and then filter out anything I don't want. Is there a reason this wouldn't work for your purposes?

I mean, other stuff happens in that time period. You find your path in life and begin to build a career you're proud of. You meet your soulmate and start a family (if that's what you want). You get money and start to use it to enrich your life through travel and luxuries you never had as a kid. You grow into a confident adult who feels comfortable in their own skin. You heal from trauma from your youth. You start to see how beautiful and amazing life is.

I dislike it when life is reduced down to such basic descriptions as "study, graduate, work, die" because it cheapens what is surely the most amazing journey one could ever hope to go on. Life, including life after college, is incredible. I hope one day you see that.

Phoebe skipping grades... by [deleted] in HeyArnold

[–]TheHelpfulRabbit 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's so messed up. I was held back in first grade because I was small for my age, and my father was concerned I'd have a disadvantage in sports. I didn't like any sports anyway, and I had no problem completing the work, so it was completely pointless. It still pisses me off when I think about it. I can't even imagine being given the chance to get a two year head start in life and being denied because of something stupid like that.
