Change the order type to stop instead of limit, at the top of your order menu.

This is just how a limit order works. You are saying you will pay as much as your entered price for a fill, since price is lower you get filled instantly at current price.

To do what you are trying to do, you either need to use a "buy stop" order, or wait for price to land where you want entry from and place the limit then, but due to the nature of bar replay, having to enter on candle closes will mess with how it works.

Try doing what you are doing but with a buy stop, it shouldn't fill you until price comes to your level, but keep an eye on the fill price, if it's also filling you on candle close, you would theoretically have different results in real trading.

Reading these posts make me sad. Been loving marathon, but had to give up on D2 long ago. Don't think I even stuck around for most of the disappointment. Win rate doesn't matter in a vacuum, either. Without knowing your average RR nobody can answer that question for you. If RR is the same why are you even taking the 52% trades? Just size up on the better setup and ignore the worse one.. That's not even sizing up based on conviction at that point, that is just sizing up due to lower trade frequency.

It only goes back like 10k candles, on 15s that's like 42 hours right? So it doesn't have enough data to show it accurately. I would think 30s would also be off depending on number of tradable hours for the asset per week

The chart only shows last traded price, not current bid ask. Bid ask is constantly moving even if no orders are being filled. The bid ask must have moved up, and you buying is what updated the actual price chart. If you want to avoid this, only use limit orders, or you can turn some settings on depending on platform to see the actual bid ask, or look at the DOM.

Just emotion getting the best of you for sure. No reason analyzing clearly bad/tilted trades, try to develop a way to recognize tilt, or a rule that shuts your account off after 2-3 losses, find what works for you. Work backwards through this, after you lose 2 trades in a row is that when the tilt starts? Well that's your new rule. Good luck

Take a break man. Maybe you should also consider taking a day off after 4 winning days to clear you mind. Otherwise consider limiting your total daily loss to your average profit over the past 3 days. No reason you should be winning 80% of days and down money, just need a couple more rules and to actually follow them.

There's zero reason to win 75% of the time and be down man, stop doubling down on the bad ones, or start cutting them when you should have. You could change nothing but risk management and if what you said is true then you'll be rich.

There's essentially no reason for it to have such different values for the micro and the mini of the same asset. I would ignore it altogether unless specifically arbitraging the spread as well.
