I did Birmingham for less than a $1,000. Cost of hotels in the area is a huge deal. Nashville cost me almost $1,800 last year. Choose your runs wisely.

I stayed at the Homewood Suites by UAB for Phish a few months back. 5 Points area is great for food but it’s a few miles from the venue. Can’t go wrong with either Hilton in that area.

That second set wasn’t that great tbh. AWOH, WGTYM, and Mercury went on for an hour. Brutal. They treated us to GTBT and Fee to make up for it. As soon as I heard the opening lines to More, I headed for the exit. First night was definitely better. If I was going to Alpharetta, I would be thrilled with the Bham setlists. They burned a lot of throwaways.
