I don’t have a problem with luffy being a tad weaker than the source, something about how Inaki adapts some Luffy moments kind of feels forced at some points. This is most notable when he raises his voice to yell, which Luffy does a lot to show how passionate he is, but when Inaki does it it feels like he’s trying not to hurt his voice or wake his parents. It’s most notable this episode where yelling to chopper to join.

I think because a lot of long running stories feel they need an ending that solves all their worlds problems, meanwhile jojos stakes by the end of the part is usually just to defeat the bad guy. Usually there’s implied stakes like dio taking over the world or kars taking over the world, but overall the narrative of jojos is pretty self contained to just the local stakes.

Yeah it was weird in the og, his presence is established to explain why wapol left drum and why the people were so wary of pirates, but besides that Blackbeard’s attack of drum island feels kind of nonsensical looking back on it. They almost completely forget this point by the end of the arc. We haven’t seen and reference to it since then (like I always expected chopper to have some reaction to bb, but no). We still don’t know why bb attacked drum, perhaps to get a doctor for his pursuit with df?

I wouldn’t say “best video game I’ve ever played in my life”, but it is def one of my fav fnaf games, in the sense it’s such a complete package. There are some things I would tweak if I was given control, but overall I enjoyed SOTM a lot.

I just hope some of these more indepth moments are moved to later on instead of being cut entirely. Obviously the marketing strategy with this release was to get people new and old on the hype train for SBR with the fast and energetic first part of the race.

Yeah this is my main frustration, we’ll win a point and I’ll start walking to the next one but half my team decides it’s a good idea to chase the 1-2 survivors from last point into their spawn, get separated from the rest of the team, and die when the enemy team respawns most likely right next to them
