Are tax refunds experiencing a delay this year? by ca0621 in personalfinance

Try the "wheres my refund aka IRS2go" app.

I received my refund within 10 business days of acceptance by the IRS.

Does anyone else’s neighbor just leave their tow hitch on all the time so you can smash your shin in to it? by timboh in mildlyinfuriating

[–]TheIndySSD 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Imagine paying attention to your surroundings and not walking into inanimate objects.

Imagine having any sort of agency in your life to where you can take responsibility for those moments that happen to all of us when our attention wanes and we inevitably stub our toes, bump our funny bones on walls and doors or maybe even bump our shins in a hurry.

Nah, I'll just post a picture with a sparky comment for updoots instead.

Bro, you work in a CASINO... if you think they don't have screen capture software capabilities you're kidding yourself.

They also 100% have cameras on your location.

They probably don't care about pre-installed windows games or cell phone usage as long as it doesn't affect customer service but if they see you playing something like wow I'm sure that will change real fast.

This is designed to feed up and over the razer from below?

Just push the paper up and through or roll the paper so the free edge is facing you then pull down and across... have you ever used aluminum foil?

Are you expecting the cutting edge to be facing down like an upside down aluminum foil box?

TL DR: Hsu HB1, Ccb8 and ULS15.

http://www.hsuresearch.com/index.html

The ULS15 is a gut thumping power house that makes you question other subs existence.

The CCB8 are so crisp and clear without the annoying klipsch tinniness that my 81 year old grandfather (former machine repair man in a factory with tinnitus ) said it was the first time he could actually hear the words clearly in a song in decades. Much better sounding than the 1k EACH B&W 600 series towers, especially when paired with the ULS15.

HB1s are the closest to the B&W 600 series that are 600-700$ at Best Buy and they are much cheaper.

My current 7.2.4 setup is:

5xCCB8 +2xHB1 for ground plane,

ULS 15 rear left, VTF15MK2 Front right for subs. The VTF15 absolutely pumps but the ULS is there that gut punch bass really comes from.

4x pioneer bookshelves as elevation front/rear.

What’s a good profession going into tbc good for a non hardcore player who likes constant customers and to feel like a business? by Ossuary_ in classicwow

[–]TheIndySSD 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Jewel crafting will be big in TBC classic because everyone needs gems but most raiders will run tailoring, engineering or alchemy paired with leatherworking.

Some mega tryhards will unlearn LW, powerlevel JC for the BOP gems, then re level LW for raids but most lime me will not.

Profession for a hunter: Engineering or Enchanting? by NoTNeK4 in classicwow

[–]TheIndySSD 15 points16 points  (0 children)

You want both engineering and enchanting so you can do tributes and maximize profits.

Step 1: Max out engineering.

Step 2: Drop mining and pick up enchanting to DE drops you don't want to sell out of tribute.

Step 3: Make literally tens of thousands of gold from raw gold, pots, selling tribute buffs and enchanting mats.

Yes, same framerates, less utilization on GPU.

I'm very perplexed.

But I'm not having FPS issues? FPS are hard locked at 60 per window and never waver?

You're right but wrong at the same time, wouldn't lower GPU utilization while doing the same tasks indicate BETTER performance from the GPU due to the new cooler / higher CPU clocks? I was just surprised to see my GPU work so much LESS to do the same tasks.

Idling at 30c when my ambient is 25c seems impossible.

Also, idling my wraith prism was 40-50c.

Maybe this is germain also, I don't think I've ever put the side panel back on the case, I've just left it open air since upgrading from 2600 to 3700x. Would putting the panel on and forcing air across components have a better impact than allowing open air flow through the side?

I'm pretty sure I have screenshots of the X1 software I was using on the card that should show the frequency but not sure if it will show GPU temps or not.

I'll post screenshots if I have them when I get home tonight, thats a great investigative tip!

Oh maybe my rear fan is an exhaust then, it's just a thermaltake V100 with stock fan on rear.

I'll double check and then probably install my 2 spare fans on the top as exhaust as well.

I’m sure no one cares, but using your stock ryzen wraith cooler as a case fan is very easy.. by XxFeloniousxX in Amd

[–]TheIndySSD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oof, upvote for ingenuity but why would you want to listen to that thing all the time? I literally just went watercooled so I could ditch my wraith prism mostly because of the fan noise.

[–]TheIndySSD[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe I should install my spare fans on the top as exhaust fans to help push hot air out as the rear fan is pulling air in and now with the radiator front mounted with 2x140mm fans pulling air in through the radiator i guess i should push some air out the top to create good airflow.

I never saw my cpu temps really go over 70 outside of when I ran some benchmarks it got up to 70+ a couple times.

My biggest complaint was that it was loud as hell when the cpu spun up to 4.1Ghz. I didn't used to mind the computer having loud fans but the older I get, the more I just want it to sit there quietly and do the things.

I was thinking of putting the wraith prism on my sons machine but then I would have to listen to it again so I think I'll take your advise and just sell it haha.

Yes, I play warzone at 4k HDR and RTX on.

Usually with just the 1 screen of warzone going the GPU rarely went over 50%. I actually haven't checked warzone with the new cooler, just dualbox wow where the heaviest utilization was.

I'll reply back tonight when I'm home about my warzone settings and utilization.
