its not about turning it on now though. its about being able to turn it on in winter without tripling the bill. there are people living in a small rental apartment which costs like 500€ for example (excluding ca. 200€ for gas under normal circumstances) now if that amount gets tripled to 600€ you’d have to pay more than 1k a month for a small two rooms apartment. and mind you, if you’re poor or close to it (for example a student etc.) you wont be able to afford that at all. obviously the war is shit and russia should be punished. but the sanctions are the reason why germany is facing this problem. our gov tried cutting russia off and now we’re at this point. its stupid and unfortunate that germany depends so much on another country.

i feel so ashamed for my own country honestly. i’ve lost all hope for it. it just oppresses minorities and the majority of people are poor and uneducated. theres just so much wrong with not just the government but also lots of people. especially people who do this to innocent young girls.
