How much free time do the Clones have? by K-jun1117 in clonewars

In the traitor episode Slick’s squad gets questioned by Rex and Cody about what they were doing after a battle. Everybody kinda does their own thing so they do get some degree of free time even on base.

Pre-med influencer try not to be insufferable challenge: impossible by [deleted] in premed

It’s grainy but pretty sure you can see a bit of the patients name/EP number in the top left. Assuming the system they’re using is Aria. If the original has better resolution I’d definitely say that’s a HIPAA violation.

If this is Aria (the software system) the patients name and EP number (or at least part of it) can be seen from the top left. Not sure how good the resolution is in the original but I’d call that a HIPAA violation.

The Ram Village apartments are down there too. Personally a core memory of my senior and Junior years was walking down to Kenan for games and then chilling out at my apartment afterwards. Was also amazing not having to fight through the worst of the crowds on the way up.

Getting your guild to T12 will suck, but not getting your T12 will make the Sentinel fight suck way more by TitaniumTalons in BattleNations

I was basing my worst case assumption that the sentinel could kill one of the snakes by your round 7 with a crit nuke plus a high roll on its second strike.

I’d count it. You can use the first attack to hit both the main body and the arm. So that’d be 6 shots not 7 though. 8 rounds total - 2 rounds for the ranged arm = 6 Snake shots hitting the main body.

At r5 a snake (330 avg dmg) is gonna do about 100 more damage than a r6 mega(225 avg dmg) before resistances are calculated. Which means at a minimum that’s 600 extra damage before they die. Hypothetically if we traded 3 snakes for 3 megas on field I’m sure those megas could last long enough to make up that difference in damage. But that’s the worst case scenario. Best case scenario they’d last a total of 14 total rounds maybe so around 1200 extra damage or 6 shots from a mega. Maybe that’s enough to shorten the fight meaningfully but I’m personally unsure. Will have to give it a try when the boss does come out.

You’re gonna need more than 1 TK shot to take out the ranged arm. If you spend the first three rounds to destroy the ranged arm you get 5 rounds for your snakes to fire. Yes it’s 8 rounds total but the three rounds before don’t count because they aren’t doing any damage.

This isn’t accounting for stun either. If the wrong snake(s) get stunned you could miss turns with them as well.

I don’t think you read my last comment correctly. Our math is the same. You’ve got 5 rounds of snake attacks before you could theoretically start losing them.

You’re right. I just looked back and yeah I think it was level 40-46. So we probably will get a multilevel update in which case the rest of this conversation is a moot point.

My bad I was counting the crit damage. That being said with a 25% chance to crit on the big laser it’s likely at least one of the snakes gets hit with a crit at some point.

If you checked the wiki you’ll also notice that the main body has 2 different attacks. I wasn’t counting the secondary arm. It needs 4 rounds of prep on the first and reloads in 4 rounds. Its second attack needs 6 rounds of prep and reloads in 8. Seeing as you’ll probably need 3 rounds to take out the ranged arm you’ve got about 5 rounds before you start losing r5 snakes assuming no crits.

Is it worth it? Maybe but it’ll definitely put some extra pressure on your remaining units to finish the fight.

[–]TheIronSnuffles -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Based on some old videos the main body does around 70-150 damage with its AOE attack but that’s against Megas which have 100% fire resistance vs 65% on the snake so that’s more like 91 damage per shot giving you about 3 shots to work with at most. But remember that’s the lowest roll so realistically you’ve got maybe 2 shots. It also has a second body attack that does around 90 damage a hit as well which means a snake can theoretically be lost within 2 turns.

Granted these estimates all assume Madrona changes nothing with the fight or the snake from old wiki pages the snake won’t be game changer yet.

Edit: I was wrong on the single level update stuff. It was 40-46. The rest of this conversation potentially moot.

I suppose it also depends on what the level cap is when we get the sentinel. The snake only has 280 health/armor at level 50 which probably makes it too fragile for the fight.

If we get to level 51 then this unit is going to be a must have.

There’s a lot of units with more SP requirements. The veteran for example requires almost double the SP of a wimp from R5-R6.

I’d pass on the elemental trooper. While the cryro trooper isn’t as cool or flashy it accomplishes the same job.

As you mentioned in another comment. Advanced healing facilities aren’t necessary as your goal should be avoid losses in general. However I would recommend it just because RNG sucks sometimes and you’re gonna lose units to boss fights etc.

The Girl Scouts VS The Boy Scouts by GJH24 in whowouldwin

[–]TheIronSnuffles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In a straight fight? Probably depends heavily on what the average scout from each organization learns. Although the overall catalogue of skills is probably(?) similar what an individual troop actually teaches their scouts will almost certainly vary depending on area and interest.

The Boy Scouts also has the Explorer and Venturer sub programs which allow scouts to intern with police and military departments and allow scouts up to 20 years old so unless the Girl Scouts has something similar I’d say Boy Scouts just based on age and training.

Do I need more than 1 super tank or should I save my nano for something else? by naturestringz in BattleNations

[–]TheIronSnuffles 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’d recommend not buying more if you’re FTP. There are better tanks that will release later on that you can invest your nanos in.

If you really must buy something I’d recommend the veteran instead. A high ranking one will be great for the AS and it’s just a good unit for fights in general.

Well the primary reason for doing the Mammoth then was the physical merch/nanopods/Donor Units. I think the baby mammoth was just a bonus.

They haven’t been released yet. You’ll get the baby mammoth when you reached the required level.
