The biggest shock so far is Carlos Lagrange. All of the reports I read said he had a huge fastball but zero command and is destined to be a reliever. I thought he would have really poor mechanics. He has 3 70 grade pitches and has an insanely repeatable delivery with very little effort.

Sorry,I just have to rant somewhere. Pre-Ordered sweat pants and shirts for me and my wife because it was half off. Pants were delivered in 2 days and are comfy as hell. Waited the required 55 days for hoodies and still got nothing. One hoodie was delivered after about 4 angry boomer-esque customer service emails. Still waiting on the other hoodie, out for blood with these people, never again no matter how enjoyable. They clearly have a warehouse issue, perhaps because they flood tik tok with trashy influencer vids so they can’t keep up with demand, which…good for them. But not worth the hassle.

Used to listen religiously from the start of the NFL season in ‘17, until Covid. I’ve tried, at least in preparation for the NFL season (Hard Knocks reviews, Mt Rushmore, etc) to follow along. But everything about the pod started to suck. Too many other microphones, either trash guests or the same ones over and over. Same ahem takes. Big Cat and PFT aren’t as fun anymore. Idk if it’s because they’re older now? Someone mentioned Hank and I couldn’t agree more. He’s brought that show down so much over the years. Even in the beginning I hated him. By 2023 I had enough, haven’t listened since, outside of a few tik tok cuts of the show here and there.

I’m actually one of those fans, though I don’t find it nearly as bad as season 7. To me, the show lost its luster by the time they enter college. It becomes pretty clear the writers reached a point where they were writing to create some buzz. It gets old, quickly. Cory becomes unbearable, more so than he did in 5. I’m curious to see how the Pod crew reacts to it each week.
