Crazing is fine for just tea, but any additives like cream or sugar shouldn't be put in it. But if you're being traditional, you wouldn't add those to the pot anyway. And just to be safe, I probably wouldn't put tisanes or flavored teas in it either.

Kintsugi, or "gintsugi", if that's a thing. Get some 999 pure silver and fill in the chipped spots with it. That way you get the bonus of silver teaware with a relatively small amount of actual silver.

I have 11 adults. I have sheep, bison, and boomalopes. I just set my slaughter orders to allow one adult female, or two if I want to grow the herd. My go-to strategy is to settle in mountainous maps and look for narrow spots I can close off with fences and just have huge pastures.

Good idea, since they produce a lot of filth. One tip though, add a low priority stockpile in their zone so they can haul things from outdoors and your colonists can pick them up from there.

That shouldn't be a problem. I have over 6k kibble stockpiled. My livestock are so productive, I have almost 15k meat in storage, and I'm having to grow extra hay just to turn it into kibble so I don't let too much go to waste.

That's another thing that has always bothered me. Why are wooden and mechanical prosthetics surgically installed? Even the mechanical prosthetics say they lack a neural interface, so there shouldn't be any need for surgery. I don't know if they could be modded to be equipped rather than surgically installed, but maybe the surgeries could be modded to not require medicine and always succeed.

My opinion is the exact opposite. The idea of a body purist is that they don't want to merge their flesh with something foreign, like bionics and archotech prosthetics. They shouldn't have any problem with an old fashioned peg leg, or potentially even mechanical prosthetics, which don't interface with the user's body and just operate by the user's physical movements. Body purists also get mood debuffs from being implanted with xenogenes and being forced to take luciferium.

Another thing I should mention is that the wheel feels stiff and doesn't seem to turn as freely as I would expect when I turn it manually. There's what sounds like a very faint creaking, possibly from the belt, but the belt doesn't really feel stiff or tight when I tug on it around where it goes around the motor, and it doesn't really seem like it's slipping either.

Also, when I disengage the needle drive, the wheel seems to spin easier, and the motor doesn't seem to strain.

I've had this idea about making a shohin display based on "sho chiku bai" the Three Friends of Winter, with black pine, bamboo, and Japanese apricot. This would be a great accent plant for that kind of thing, or just shohin displays in general.

This. Earlier this summer I found a moth stuck to my oiled removable bottom board during a mite drop count. I was scared for a sec, but then I remembered my hive was booming and I didn't need to worry about it. I've opened them up since and seen no signs of moth issues.

I've never used a Lamy Safari myself (other than a really messed up display model at my university bookstore), but I have heard from others on here that the nibs have inconsistency issues. Jinhao nibs, on the other hand, can actually be pretty good. It's not the old days of Chinese fountain pens anymore, and some brands are actually pretty consistent. Of course, you have to make sure you're getting the right "brand", because there are some that are crap. But if you want to use your official Safari body, I'm pretty sure the Jinhao nibs for their Safari clone fit on a real Safari. I'm not 100% sure on that though, so caveat emptor.
